In all fairness call of duty has a history of dude weed cosmetics and even featured snoop dog as a dlc announcer in cod ghosts, them adding snoop as a playable character is just the next natural progression as where fortnite adding him is just soulless nigger pandering especially when they treat him with the same respect as he treats himself by putting him next to fucking ice spice.
come to think of it the trio of rappers shown in the trailer this season consist of a white nigger, a washed up nigger, and a mutt who wants to be a nigger.
thats a gimmick of this season, all the bosses turn into followers when you kill them.

I finally got a fucking victory this season in the farms (specifically the corn fields) section of all places while me and some other guy kepttrying to do drivebys at each other. Of course I fucking crip walked in celebration.
Yeah noticed. I guess when I was fighting meowdas he glitched and died from me shooting him somehow after i got him as an ally the first 2 times.

Unironic missed oppurtunity to give him a snoop dog snow cone/ice cream machine in reference to the song. I mean his head morphs into a fucked up snoopy for the skin so likethe pickaxe should be some ridiculous shitposty thing like the copus amount of snoop dogg meme weaponry in indie rpgs and webcomics during the 2000s/2010s era of the internet.
Anyways back to the game. The map feels weirdly smaller to me despite it being the same geometry I remember. I wonder f they shrunk it by a little bit? Still, the chapter 2 map was a really fun one and 'm glad to see it back. No clue why the grotto is still destroyed and is now filled with gravel for some fucking reason but the top entrance hole is still there.

Ik there's a lot of nostalgia for early Fortnite here because the Farms is being overtaken by twelve year olds, but ngl while Chapter 2 was the first time I picked up the game and the classic art style is undeniably better than the modern art style, this map sucks. It's really empty and the lack of mobility items makes that all the more apparent. Maybe I was just spoiled by the past several seasons being fast paced and putting an emphasis on movement, but this just feels like a slog and the grappler is basically worthless because there's basically no verticality to the island

The chapter 2 map gradually added stuff that'd carry into the next several chapters. Weapons and features wise this feels like chapter 1 levels of barren save for the fact bosses exist. Honestly one of my favorite parts of chapter 2 was when the storm got replaced with a water wall for a bit after thee live event a lot of people asidefrom streamers got fucked out of viewing and the water world shit that followed. Cool mobility gimmick till the waters receded and made shit boring till the ayys showed up. I have a feeling the watered down feeling of this rewind is probably due to them not wanting to make the "comp players" mad., essentially falling into the same trap TF2 did before which fortnite has already done a few times. If I was in charge of this I'd pull themost schizophrenic shit and enable every chapter 2 gimmick at once. flooding/water wall/alien ships/raider drop pods all at once and watch them fucking screech about it because "OH NO THE METAAAAAAA"
