Red Bull updates seem to be doing well, Max is about to be with Russell which will either mean Max overtaking him or Russell doing something dumb that takes both of them out and then endlessly crying about it.

Looks like Russell is slowly clawing himself into the fight (though I think antonelli is the faster of the two at the moment). Nice to see Verstappen back in the mix. Meanwhile Ferrari getting btfo by Mclaren. Ouch. yesterday they mentioned that Ferrari suffers in greater altitudes bercause of their small turbo. To me it looks more like their car eats tyres. Hamilton could not keep up with Piastri when they had the exact same aged tyres and even Hadjar was slowly catching up and he had slightly older tyres. Or the issue is purely the hard tyre

Gotta say I really enjoyed this race. Finally get to see Max being Max and Ferrari being absolutely retarded again. I would also say aside from the not so good start, Kimi had really good pace today.

Leclerc sucked balls tho. He was easy picking for literally everyone. If you ask me, he’s definitely hitting his 2019-2020 Vettel phase at Ferrari.

he clipped his front wing off norris car about 10 laps in and for some reason they decided not to replace it but you could tell he had shit downforce for the rest of the race

I want to join in, but you Dudes have much better and insightful commentary; and so I'll just sit in the Retardcorner and say that I am a MacLarenfag, and Tsunada Yūki is my favourite. Mainly because he is so small and cute(and watching him have to gallop jump over any obstacles and barriers to get around when not driving gives me joy). He better get out of the reserve driver position for 2027.
Yūki was great in F2, which I genuinely enjoy, probably even more than F1. I enjoy the Sprints best of all in F1 and F2, which I'm sure is a pretty plebeian Opinion so feel free to point and laugh.

Btw The FIA has adjusted the alloted development time for aero tests (aka the Aero handicap). Ferrari, Mercedes, Alpine and Haas will have less time in the 2nd half of the season while the others gain more time. For example Aston gained 15% more development time. The same goes for Williams. Mclaren gains 10% more and Red Bull 5% more. Racing Bulls, Audi and Cadillac stay as they are.

I find it curious how there’s so so many ongoing development coming from the top teams. Am didn’t improve the car at all and just going for a b spec when Ferrari had been bringing parts every race.

Yeah, Toto and also Alonso both said that this can't be real because they bring so many parts despite there being a budget cap. So either they have found a way to produce cheap or they are doing more "catering*wink wink* Though I suspect that Ferrari will probably paying for it later down the road when their budget is used up

Aston on the other hand has decided to understand the issues first and solve them before even thinking of updating the car. Makes sense but also makes it painful for them each weekend.

Can't wait to see F2 16th place Colton Herta puttering around in 20th and getting lapped next season.

Why in each of the nine blue hells did they not go with Palou or Kirkwood? It makes no sense why TWG loves Herta so much. If anything, he's just going to further the snooty Europeans' perspective that Indycar is a step below.
