Something i find it interesting and probably explains why Williams is so shit this season, their major sponsor and biggest investor has suffered enormous setbacks in mid 2025 right when they probably needed the most to develop their 2026 car and also why they quit early in 2025 on development.

This wasn't some masterplan, their tech bro CEO guy nearly got axed and the next guy could probably pull the plug on the sponsorship and they went panic mode on belt tightening.

It might have been just on the right side of understandable if it were all backmarker teams. Not justifiable, but understandable.

You get a Verstappen DNF and both McLarens DNS, and you're the FIA, you really need to explain to the entire fucking planet what kind of faggotry is going on.

It doesn't shock me that Mercedes and Ferrari are coming out on top. Take Max and McLaren out of the equation, and they always were going to lead. But it takes some really shitty winners to look at these results and be happy about it.

At least retirements add some unpredictability though, rather that than a few years ago where you'd have multiple races without a single retirement.
 
ngl I'm happy for Haas. I know it's only two rounds in, but they're just one point behind McLaren in the Constructors' championship, and they're ahead of RBR.
