Mick went directly parallel into the wall, which is the worst way to hit because the car can crumple the least from that. The shock basically goes right through the wheels and suspension right to the driver.

Sorry for foreign audio, just quickly rewound an AcePlayer stream to clip it.

Thank god they caught it live, otherwise the tv producer would probably pretend that there was no good camera angle of that section of the track

Just read that Mick won't be racing tomorrow. So either he got injured or Haas can't rebuild the car for the race. I tend to believe it's the second option as the car was basically cut in half

More/alternate footage of Mick's crash from the fans in the stands.

Also does anyone remember during the show when Merc (or another person quoting Merc) said the two cars were on an almost identical set up?

Either A) they were/are lying or B) the car has a very narrow and/or weird set up windows.

EDIT: Great news Mick is out of the hospital

Don't apologise for the foreign audio. I don't understand a word of it yet it's 100x better than those faggots on Sky. At least Mick seems to be OK (if probably a bit shaken).
Anyone rooting against Checo is a fake fan. He has worked all his life for this.
Here's hoping RBR don't put any team orders on him. The least they can do for Checo after his stellar wingman work for Max last season is to let him have this one.

LOL at the comparative lap on Russell vs Hamilton: "I didn't see any big mistakes, it's a bit of a head scratcher." Translated: Lewis slow as fuck, looks tentative and weak.
One I noticed was that Mercedes had Lewis give Russ a tow for his Q1 lap and yet they didn't have Russ give Lew a tow for his. Was this a possible fuckup on Merc's part or did they think he wouldn't need it?

Interestingly the Ferraris had their fastest lap on used tyres and both drivers said in the post qualifying interviews that the car is much better to drive on used tyres. Really odd and been a while since we've had scrubbed tyres being better.

As for tows Merc take turns on which driver goes out first. Russell was first out for each run in Bahrain so Ham got the tows. It's a policy they may need to reassess now they aren't just walking it.

Interesting...

Remember when everyone was saying stop being a big baby after Max received a 50G load at Silverstone?

Mick only received 33G.

Normie modern fans raus.

Also Mick is at the track today and Haas confirmed that he's not running due to time and parts needed and possible impact in AUS if he crashes again either here or AUS.

Oh now sky are calling it a terrorist attack, after the other day's "rebels". Again, your cunt "hoasts" are in active warfare again the "terrorists" the strike was launched from within their country. Stop trying to wash the Saudi's hands clean over the fact this is a war and they are not the good guys.

The democratically elected president of their country was ousted, an "interim" president (that Saudi and murica approved) was appointed and when they held elections every other candidate was disqualified which ended up in a one party election which was boycotted by the majority if the population.

That resulted in civil war and now the "rebels" control the majority of the country including the capital but the dodgy "government" is the one recognised by the west and Saudi. Without Saudi and their weapons supplied by us that civil war would be long over and the "rebels" would be the government.

I'm not saying the "rebels" are good guys, they aren't, but the Saudis are actively involved in large scale bombing of entire residential areas to try and flush them out.

That's good. Better that than the alternative.

So pireli definitely failing to deliver a tyre they can push hard on for an entire stint.
Yeah its weird. The talk at testing was these could basically be driven a stint length at pretty much full tilt.

Norris specifically said the Mercs and Daniel had 2 sets of new Hs. So, is this going to be a S/M-H-H type race?

Will be interesting to see who starts on what tire.

do F1tv bros not get Brundle and Crofty anymore?
No, Palmer and Edwards. I am not sure if for every race, but for at least half. Remember reading that.

Will Ham fluke into a points finish?
Will a non-RB/Fer driver get a podium?
Will Alpine stick in mid top-10?

Mag, Hulk, Ham on Hs, all others Ms. Hope that works out great for Mag!
