With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

  • 2 Stars — Pretty bad. Some funny moments, dragged, too many vibe repair days. Barely worth checking.

Well the twins were not exactly eliminated (I think the whole night was a work), but yeah its pretty crazy. James Drake has also lost a lot of challanges, and been shit at times. The room battle, he was good at first when winning, but his head dropped when he went behind and JD of all people was the one who had to step up and try to continue. Same with the triathalon, James started to struggle, mostly with anger at Binx and Landon being utter shit.

Something that seems kinda forgotten, is Landon wanted to be on Drakes team on the Room Battle, but Jet made him join the twins and Bashir to give it equal numbers. Landon is the worst ally to ever have.

Also I dont mean anyone actual insults, fish or here, I just like being dramatic for fun. (I do hate Binxs voice though)

landon fumbled it the second he started simping, and he got eliminated for the same reason.
it was at least plausible that Anissa was just his fetish autistic hyperfixation before, but now that he's done it with binx and now vimp it's obvious he's just spineless and caves the second a woman gives him what he sees as genuine attention.

You know that is strange to me. I feel zero attraction to them. I know there are a lot of deranged degens out there who probably jerk it to their feet or whatever. I get more of a paternal "we must protect them at all costs" vibe. Like a very endangered animal.

I like the twins because they thrive in fishtank. You can say it's because they don't get hassled enough, but I think that's because they are just generally very affable in a way that makes people protective of them despite them never insisting on this treatment, and in fact acting baffled that others don't fuck with them. They always go along with bits (whereas Drake sometimes blatantly seethes at being made fun of), and they barely complain (compared to Bashir who don't get me wrong I like and all, but nigga can whine). Bongo's diss raps during Room Wars were legit good, they were champs in the triathlon giving it their all (and not giving Blane any shit for not smoking but actually praised him), and they won Jeopardy fair and square.

Look idk how else to say it they're positive pollies not negative nellies. they're neat! :)

I think one of the worst kind of impressions you can give off for attracting anyone under 35 is that you are 'done' with life, eg. you have a stable mid income job and home.

Alex B threatening people, then James Drake.
Maybe it's been too long since I've seen the other seasons but this is really stupid and confirms my opinion this years' fish are subhuman even by fishtank contestants' standards.
