With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Was rewatching this to get the full thing and tbh maybe Head got super tempted with all the alcohol, but also sharing his vape with people whos' lips have touched the stuff too. Like why is he sharing his vape with the person who had been non-stop drinking all day? Not to be a psycho-analysis fag but I wouldn't be surprised if he was "teetering on the edge" and already bargaining with his own sobriety last night by saying things to himself like "Oh maybe I can taste a little bit using the vape as a rubegoldbergian machine".

Agreed, Head struck me as a drunk barely holding on. That "intervention" was unloading because he was stressed about drunktank and unraveling. He tried to get a spot out of the tank for a night at a hotel, wanted Jet to have him carted out by EMS, and even wanted to sleep in the basement.

Head was great. There were so many small interactions he had with each fish that really made for some really great moments. I cannot disagree more about them not vibing. The Twins straight up cried when he left, him and Anisa were a great duo, he always called Vickey out on her bullshit, and him playfully messing with Landon was kino. He felt like the house Uncle and I will genuinely miss him on the show.
 
My stream has been acting up this morning and I clip from the source so hopefully a full clip is out there of the start to Day 8. The clip starts with James Drake checking on the attic and Cody telling him it's off limits. I added the music to remove the pauses and unfortunately lost the perfect ending of Bashir snoring right as the music fades out.
 
Freeloader applications are open again and Jet also has a shortlist. Also Jet wants a "hot girl" to replace Icky but those are mutually exclusive categories.
 
I didn't see anyone mention this last night, but there was a point where Landon was mixing up tiger and lion and got upset with himself because "I don't want to take anyone else's... SYMBOL..." (emphasis his) and the JDs were both like why the hell are you talking about symbols, who's a lion, I'd rather be a dragon, blah blah blah. It completely went over their head and I am in awe that even shitface drunk Landon had the restraint to avoid directly talking about previous seasons.
