That's the fucked up thing about this whole infinite gender/DID bullshit - they watch a TV show or a movie and they decide that they "identify" as that character. "Oh, I like cold weather. I must be Captain Cold!" - No, that's just an aspect of your personality. You're just a weirdo and that's okay. It's okay to be weird, it doesn't have to be because your brain is fucked up and you have a disorder. You can find cats appealing without it having anything to do with "identifying" as a cat. All this glorification of DID and similar disorders is supposed to be enlightened and open-minded, but really they're just shitting on the idea of people actually having interesting, varied personalities.
The gender issue is the same way. You have males who decide that because they like the color pink it makes them "gender fluid." Uh, maybe, but more likely they're just dudes who like feminine things. There's nothing wrong with that. It's called having a personality and it has nothing at all to do with your "gender." I listen to girly k-pop and got the entire Power Puff Girls DVD boxset, but it doesn't make me any closer to being a woman. Just a guy with some interests that happen to be a little feminine. Just be yourself, dumbasses.

Essentially, the fad is that some people identify as multiple people. Thusly they are a "system" - like a solar system is a series of planets. So they make a page that explains exactly what are all the different personalities are. It's basically just moronic roleplaying, except for the fact that most claim to have legitimate disorders and their behavior makes people who are genuinely afflicted by the disorders look really bad.
