From what I learned in my Woman's Studies class, women can become as strong as men through training. It just takes more time. Case in point, weight-lifters.

A man who spent an equal ammount of time training would blow her out of the water, and i would bet my nutsack she is on steroids. Most bodybuilders are.

About as much as i care how many men get lifetime movies about their struggles.

Women should have started forking over every last dollar they could scrape up at the video arcade about 35 years ago if they wanted a huge presence in this profit driven, market based industry. They didnt. Still, they get games. If males hadnt glommed on to gaming, it would have died. Suddenly its an issue, i guess.

For you anyway.

I think video game characters should be more like the young Saaya Erie. For a 14 year old girl at the time, her breasts are as big as a 20 year old girl. Japanese girls are getting bigger. Feminists'll be shocked on how much have improved throughout the years.

Men actually have quite a lot of movies about them and their struggles, but not a lot made specifically from Lifetime. Seems oddly specific that you'd zero in straight on them instead of the movie industry as a whole. Besides, it's not like there's a lot of groups pushing for Lifetime to make them.

Anyway, the point I'm getting to is that you should try to make sure there's a comparable amount of female to male protagonists before you go around trying to imply that the "list goes on and on".

Based on who buys games, i am sure it is adequate. Life goes on.

Seems oddly specific huh? Lol.
 
I would rather buy a game based on mechanics and story,

or watch a movie or read a book based on the quality of the writing,

Not based on the quotas of male to female protagonists.

Its getting stupid that every book/game/movie must now have a man a woman a black guy an Asian woman the list goes on.

Just tell me a damn good story, or give me a damn good game. i could care less about the sex/gender/race of the characters.

This whole movement seems to be destructive.. It makes me never want to finish my book because i know i will "offend people"

Heavenly sword is borderline about two lesbians with an oppressive father. It is one of my favorite games ever made because it was powerful, amazing to see, and had solid and original play mechanics. The rest is unimportant.
 
I'm not really sure what kind of games you'd make centric to a female audience. Do you take the popular media interpretation of a female and have a game where the main character is a useless idiot who needs a man to function in any situation while relegated to simple tasks and roles, even while being the main character? Do you make a RAH WOMAN game, which already exist and portray women as badass leather pants wearing feminists who climb mountains and kick evil dudes in the balls while vomiting one liners like a Duke Nukem with tits.

Ladies, the world is against you if you think a realistic interpretation of a female is something that will come to fruition in most games. It's definitely a men's type of world. The US and Japan, two of the biggest developers of games, are also two of the most sexist and biased nations in existence. That's sad but true.

Pop media is just the opposite these days. Men need women or kids to guide them. Other than that, you are correct. Put a woman in the same type of outfit and same build as a male, they are pandering sluts. It is lose lose.

Equality is not earned by destroying other people. My wife is attacked by a feminists at work all the time for wanting to have a child.

Some how i guess i am oppressing her and she has no self respect for being married and wanting a kid. even though my wife is the one that has pushed for us to start a family.

If people really wanted equality there would be a bigger Egalitarian push.. but there is no money in that.
