Female genital mutilation solutions

I was reading about how girls in Britain are brought to places such as the Middle East and Africa to have their genitals cut-up and sealed by parents/relatives/illegal practitioner without fear of reprisal.

One solution I thought up for this issue would be to have mandatory checks on children for genital mutilation/other issues (like sexual abuse) by schools (with carefully approved staff of-course). If something is found, the child may go to foster care along with possible arrest of the parents

I know how there are problems with this idea, with regarding pedophiles…

Or another forum altogether since this is something we all despise and doesn't really require much discussion other than "yeah that sucks".

Do you really think having pussy police check a child's genitals every year won't arouse some controversy and suspicion? Pedophiles are just one problem, never mind the severe breach in privacy all to "protect the children".
