Best part about any character with mechanical appendages: guilt-free mutilation.

...I'll figure something out for her- should be interesting since she seems to have existed to just be fucktoy and I have to give that a character.
...that was Simpsons, wasn't it? Thought I was cribbing off of Animaniacs... ah well. I'm the Denis Leary of comics either way.

So! Totally upfront: I HATE this page. So yes, please tear it a new one. Working on this with my right shoulder still fucked up, and relying on caffeine, Advil, and Icy Hot to keep me going, I hit a level of complete indifference with this one, guys and gals. When it came to do the extra shading, I totally just said "fuck it- just use a gray tone."
Soooo yeah, not the best thing ever, not gonna lie. But I had to get it done so I could move on to a better page. Here's to page 185 not looking like complete ass.
Yeah, writing Nait was a bit cathartic.
And now, today's theme...

Would a Punchy/ Dagget teamup suffice? I would use Deadpool, but Marvel has him one of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse along with Venom and fuckin' Future Moon Knight (goddamit Marvel), so he's kinda busy
HE DOESN'T EDIT HIS PAGES BEFORE HE POSTS THEM! Like I said, I hated that page and I just wanted it done.
This page however... I like. Bit digital, bit hand-drawn... testing it out to see what folks think... and of course to get the plot rolling again. Apologies about the delay, work has been getting extra stupid lately. Hoping to get back on a regular schedule again soon.

I still like the TRUE AND ORIGINAL hand-drawn style the best, but the style on this latest page is interesting. A lot more of a "comic-book" look than past pages, but that's absolutely fitting with the source material.

Also, for a bonus. For the second panel, I had another joke lined up, but I didn't know how many other people would get the reference so I scrapped it...

Yeah, I totally spaced putting a theme song up for the last page. Props to @MrJakeTerror for taking the reigns. I would probably have used that song too, if not this page then certainly for another.
Thanks- trying out different stuff and different ways of putting things together. I used the same method this time around...
First I start up in Manga Studio, laying out the panels and making a quick sketch of how I want everything to lay out...
I print this out, as well as the blank panels and using a lightboard, I refine the sketches with a .3 mechanical pencil and then a final page using Micron pens:
Afterwards, I scan this in at 600dpi and add the color and text.
I'm still testing different shading styles, as you porbably noticed over the last couple of pages. In the meantime, I might go back to just doing it in marker- I dunno. Pros and cons either way.
