On the topic of Amazon's Fallout, Im starting to wonder how would one adapt this series? Should it even be in live action?
I dont know, I say this because its easier to get away with some more out there things from Fallout in an animated format, like VATS (seriously, how can one adapt VATS into another media?)
And what plot should it follow? They kind would have four choices
1- Adapt the series in a linear manner (F1-2-onwards)
2- Do their "own take" of the series, using details from the whole series to construct its own unique detached narrative from the games (as long they make it clear that this isnt suppose to be a direct adaptation of the games and its actually good, I could accept the differences)
3- Make it set in the Fallout universe but make it a side story to the main one, with the protagonist of the entry's timeframe its following being mentioned ocassionally.
4- (and this is ballsy but) make it an adaptation of Fallout Tactics...I mean, Tactics is in that thin line between canon and not canon (Bethesda said it isnt but their games do reference events from it, soo...). A solution to this adapt Tactics with own set of creative liberties (looking best case scenario here) that will fit within the main game's continuity. So the game wont be canon but its live action version will.
