Not really. IIRC, that car was used when they bought it, and it has spent the last 4 years hauling around 800+ lbs, and you know damn well Amber has only paid for the bare minimum when it comes to maintenance and repairs. She got her money's worth out of it. She may as well let Becky keep it and just buy a new one after she gets wherever she's going to go after this. (And no, I don't see "selling the car" to be an option. Just look at how badly she bungles selling books and shitty earrings).

It’s always funny to me how she thinks that doing the bare minimum will save her, like when she says that she does the chores and puts away groceries. Does she think that walking to the mailbox once a day every day will bring her down to 100 lbs? Yes, I get that it’s better than nothing, but will it actually make that big of a difference when you’re 600+ lbs and going to get Panda Express later?
I'm happy for her to believe that she can look after herself as this means she might attempt to be more independent and then we get to watch it all go completely tits-up. The decline will be way worse if she tries to prove us wrong.
