Oh? So you mean when I'm forced to buy a "smart" TV, and I have to tell it 18 times during setup to fuck off, that it's not getting my Wi-Fi password so it can shove ads in my face? I paid for that device, and that's all they're going to get. They don't get to force that bullshit onto my screen.
Maybe the sheep of the new generation do. I don't know. I've never been "converted" (creepy fucking way of putting it) by an ad like a sheep. I go into a store to get what I need and that's it. I'll actively go out of my way to never use a product if I'm forced to see an ad somewhere like a billboard.
Oh, I wouldn't recommend that. I once had an asshole ignore my "No Soliciting" and "No Tresspassing" signs. He came to my door and made the mistake of catching my door when I tried to close it in his face. I was seeing red about some prick thinking he had a right to catch my door to try to sell me shit, but I was still nice enough to give him 30 seconds to get the fuck off my property and never return.
I won't be around to see it, but I pray this world wises up, gets sick of faggots trying to inject ads straight into the mediums that they enjoy, and start hanging people coming up with this shit from telephone poles.

Edit: I just realized, they worded their fucking ad wrong. "Watching ads suck" instead of "Watching ads sucks". All the premium human capital from Hyderabad and Punjab I am sure!
Like pretty much every Lolcow his status is self inflicted. He has chosen to go down this route.
