Have you considered getting ear grommets? I believe that is what is generally prescribed for people who suffer from recurrent ear infections.

As somebody who's dealt with ENT problems my whole life, these helped me tremendously as a kid. I still have a hole in one eardrum (it sounds a lot worse than it is) and frankly I wish I had one in both because it helps that ear a lot with equalizing pressure on a plane or when I'm congested.

I had a lot of these when I was very young. Now the focus is getting the Tonsils and Adenoids removed because I have trouble breathing in hot humid environments and a traumatic event that happened less than 2 days ago. It was the worst day of my life.

I've seen an ENT specialist and he confirmed I have Chronic Ear Infections. Oh and I've also been to the hospital at least 20 times in the past 6 months. I might get surgery on that right ear that has been killing me with ear infections.

Why "might" instead of "will", what's the obstacle to doing it? Too expensive?
