Having beaten it, it's probably one of my favorites in the series. It's probably the best game since the PS2 era.

No it plays entirely different than any of the 13 games.

13 had an awful battle system, 7R has a good battle system.

They're not the same. 7R has way more options for party builds as well as abilities and how they work.
