Edit 2: I already played PSO2 on the Japanese server, its okay, nothing to write home about. They killed my favorite build so I haven't played in 2 or so years.

The zombies craze left the game industry in a weird spot because they had all these well selling titles but now they want to make sequels but the craze has mostly died.

To be fair the western PSO2 community was so autistic that they basically translated the game for SEGA for literal years and would constantly repatch it if their english patch broke. So a lot of people that cared to play PSO2 just did that, so making a western release was sort of meaningless.
