I feel like I'm the only person who thought the scene of Team Avatar just steamrolling their way through the entire Earth Kingdom army and guard force protecting the Earth King's palace in the show was dumb as fuck. It trivialized the stakes and made them talking about how difficult getting to the Fire Lord would be sound retarded considering that they did just that in trying to get to the Earth King. So in that regard the live-action series making it so that they sneak into the palace instead is slightly better though it's undone by all the other retarded shit around it.

Because it's not Asian, it's mystery meat nepo babies that their dad bought their way in, rather than do the usual and fuck their way in.
It's telling that the writers never had any friends they could trust in. This scene reads like a Discord group crashing out and airing dirty laundry, than a group of friends having a breach of trust.
Also, "if they are rich they must be war profiteering" is such a commie thought terminating idea. That does as much sense here as it was in Star Wars TLJ.

Big Harv made sure they cast at least attractive women or attractive Jewish women. Now? Uggos and Yentas that even the most Zionist Jews won’t defend.
I do think it is a quasi racial thing for Jews in casting. They will push some mid Jew as a sex symbol solely due to tribal status. Gay Jewish men do the same thing with blacks, but because more for themselves.
Avatar always seemed like it would benefit from being more of a Hong Kong martial arts action movie. The actors would at least need to learn how to move in a style and that sort of influences characters.

I could even somehow justify it if the acting was any good, but nothing in season 1 particularly impressed me, especially not Azula's whale squad. I've heard the actress for Toph is probably the best of the bunch.
I'm honestly leaning towards if you're going to do a live action adaption just do it in China with east asian actors and directors, you'll be able to save money on not having to use VFX for every environment and there's plenty of actors and actresses trained in martial arts like you said

I think the issue is that it’s ultimately YA fiction with magical Kung fu and a dash of Asian mysticism. Everyone is some sort of Asian. White people, Americans, niggers, and Jeets don’t exist.
Hollywood doesn’t want to make it. This would thrive as a mid budget HK action movie in the 80’s to 90’s where they have like two good effect scenes. I don’t think Modern chinks would like it because they can’t force communism unless they just make Kuvira into Mao and she effectively reorganizes the Earth Kingdom into a proto communist state. Or Kiyoshi does that.
Japs would probably do a faithful, but horribly acted live action adaptation.
