I tried joining up just to give feedback on some update features I didn't like. Y'know, serious and actually helpful stuff. Instead, what I got was a server I couldn't even post in without following the sekret rules and channels filled to the brim with textwalls and memes, and no clearly labeled feedback section. It was like trying to talk to the manager at a crowded dance club after everyone had already taken drugs.

Bullshit like this is why Gzdoom has nine different texture filter settings but STILL can't get the size of the damn HUD right.

This is what I've ALWAYS been telling my buddies and they think nothing of it. Actual women online don't say they're one.
It's also pretty obvious with how they always take male-dominant interests. For example, there's maybe 2 females in the Doom community that I can name off the top of my head? As for trannies, I know at least half a dozen prominent ones.
This is visible in any community (especially Discord) for retro games. You will find zero women, but a lot of transwomen. It's baffling how they're extremely unaware to this, despite trying so hard to be like a woman.

Whenever updating Hideous Destructor, I always go into it with Slade and erase those lines.

Is there a reason for this ? Am I missing something in this abomination that excuses all the gross shit to make "compelling art" ?

Never bothered reading it, but I've heard for many years how it's a horror story with some very compelling and well crafted writing, and I've had the plot described to me before.
One of the key points is that the main character has a brain injury, so he sees every person as a grotesque and terrifying monstrosity, then he eventually discovers that little girl, who looks normal. One of the twists is that the little girl in actuality is a Lovecraftian monster, who he sees as a little girl because of his brain injury. Whether it's his brain injury feeding his delusions, the monster playing along and exploiting him, or the monster is simply into that shit, they have some sort of "romantic relationship." I don't recall if the main character ever understands that he's deluded, I think he kills some people who he thinks are monsters trying to kill him.

Disturbing and dark shit, but that's the point. There's the whole lolicon thing, so I guess part of the dark content has "subjectivity" to it, but I suppose you could look at that as yet more of the horror. Might have been a version of it which left out the sex and nudity, but I could be thinking of some other VNs from that same era.

How the fuck do these degenerates even come to enjoy DOOM? I feel like it has to be rooted in trying to infiltrate something popular.
