I'm actually a socially conservative, economically left Christian; I'm far more right wing on social issues than probably anyone else posting in this thread, and probably further to the left economically as I believe in socialism. I would also wager I'm far more conservative in terms of my actual behaviour than any of the "based and trad" rightoids infesting the rest of this website. If I was American I would vote for the American Solidarity Party, as they're the closest reflection of my views I could find in the US. I also am a firm anti-Zionist and anti-imperialist.

A sentiment I'm seeing is that Charlie was simply a "mainstream conservative" assassinated for his political views. If your political views involve spreading propaganda for a genocidal state, inciting bigotry against religious and ethnic minorities, running defence for suspected pedophiles and saying women in their thirties are washed up (ironic given Kirk's beauty queen widow is five years his senior and far more attractive than him), then mainstream "conservatism" is depraved and evil and needs to be stopped at any cost. I feel exactly the same way towards the modern left in many respects, but I would sooner associate with sane American leftists than what passes for the right nowadays. The great irony is the way Charlie Kirk died. He was killed by the same gun rights laws that he advocated for.
