Halle Bailey looks like an alien, her eyes are too far apart (cue the Peter Griffen as Uma Thurman's eye wrangler on the set of Pulp Fiction gag). And they could have given her a wig, black people wear them all the time anyway, or CG'd the hair since half the movie is CG anyway.
 
Apparently they announced a release of Gargoyles Remastered at D23, based on the Genesis game. Looked it up and they showed literally nothing other than the fact that it exists. The devs behind Streets of Kamurocho, a retro styled brawler mini game based on Yakuza, are making it.

The fact that there's actual retro brawler devs on it, and that they're releasing it solo instead of in a collection like Lion King and Aladdin, I'm hoping it's at least a bit more than just emulating the Genesis game. It probably is just an emulation, but one can hope.

This looks disgusting. That ghetto fairy looks like a villain who turned an innocent boy into a puppet. They made the poor actress ugly on purpose. Black women can't be pretty of course not. :roll: Woke ideology forbids making them friendly and nice looking, It would have been no problem for Disney to dress her like a fairy and give her a blue wig or long blue cgi hair. But nope it she has to be bald with a bit of blue glitter and the face of someone from a starving african village.

Disneys play against Epic Universe from Universal is a bunch of Blue Sky concept art add ons for Magic Kingdom. Coco will never happen because ride couldnt go to China. A Villian land would be popular though. But still only taking down Splash Mountain and replacing with Princess and Frog as your play. Lolololol

Joke's on Disney - Cuphead beat them to the punch with a strong, independent mermaid who cares more about her career than relationships but still comes across as really likeable.

 
That really fucks me up what is happening with WDW currently, no, not the hurricane, but prices are skyrocketing while meanwhile the park maintenance goes down, trash bins overflow, rides go into disrepair etc.

What the fuck? What a perfect little microcosm of how shit the 20s are, Chapek is basically a raider, not a CEO, strip mining the whole brand for all that it's worth and fucking it up.

Disgusting and shameful considering it's happening almost during the company's 100th anniversary, just the fact alone that they think letting trash bins overflow is acceptable is perfectly the exact fucking opposite of what Walt would find acceptable.

It depends. Everyone is having staffing issues. Trash is purely a function of staffing taking it away. And Disney is having issues staffing its park at the levels it used too.

They already tolerate behavior from employees they didnt use too at the park because they cant replace them on a dime anymore. They are using their slave labor college interns to do menial stuff they never used too before. Universal is getting more aggressive poaching their staff too. The Theme Park as a career people regularly bounce back and forth between the 2 to negotiate raises.

So i guess the ask is to raise the rate that they pay the custodial staff to get back to same level staffing? But why do that when the parks basically max out on capacity and have lines for everything?

Chapek is pretty clearly the guy brought on to bring discipline after Eiger went on shopping sprees and let activists in upper leadership roles. Its why the board re affirmed their support recently.
 
Never forget that Bob Chapek is the guy who was in charge of WDW during the 2010s when he changed it from the Crown Jewel of the Theme Park Industry into Six Flags Over Karen. He is a cheap, unimaginative corporate ghoul and cannot and must not be trusted.
 
I just watched Hocus Pocus 2 and it was okay. There were some funny parts but the first one was better. The Sanderson sisters (both the young and original actors) stole the show, I don't even feel anything for the teen actors. They're dull as anything.

I've been seeing commercials for it on TV and it looks like they're doing the same the Craft reboot/sequel was doing.
