I think what happened was he actually was making dosh, at first. I've seen him do streams and make a few hundred bucks from super chats and stuff, usually with other tubers, so he probably had to split it with them, but still. I want to say back when me and him beefed, he said something like he made around $1000-1200 a month? He seriously considered his channel his "primary source of income". I mean, $1k a month to shit talk Chris Chan ain't bad, if it's a supplemental income. But if that's serious ALL he's making? That.. that's not anything someone in their mid 20s should be bragging about. Insert "no wonder he moved back in with his mom" joke.

While its not thing to brag about, its still something notable. Maybe even "I can make legit financial moves for myself." money if you're smart. I'm betting Dillin just squandered it all though like a Mid 20s idiot would do. Personally, I would have taken that money and injected it into my channel in some way; clearly Dillin didn't do that.

I obviously don't know his entire financial records, but I know he bought an awful lot of Fortnite skins, and he always bragged about paying the artists that worked in his comics.. the ones that he always cancelled after two or three issues?

$1200 a month is only $300 a week. While that's obviously livable under extremely meager spending, he also claimed HE was taking care of his MOM, not the other way around.. which seems entirely unreasonable. I don't see any possible way he was sustaining an entire household on that income alone, while also still having expendable money to pay for any kind of non essentials. It just doesn't add up.. literally and figuratively.

Well of course he didn't invest it in his channel, he believed that both Chris was a golden goose that would never stop shitting golden eggs, and was perfectly satisfied not improving as he's said he's was proud of being able to make a living off of such low effort content. He also had Taylor's commissions to provide some extra dosh, it could've resulted in in a more or less stable household with absolutely no room for saving. Which is why everything went to shit once Chris went to jail which I think is what ultimately was the main motivation for the breakup even though both parties aren't saying it.

College isn’t really necessary these days, all you need is certifications. If I do recall he has some skill in like writing but aside from that there isn’t much I recall.

From what I’ve heard, Dillin’s relationship started like being rocky around the time he went to California and considering how much of money that Taylor was getting out of Dillin, Im just gonna say that Taylor was just using Dillin as a paypig.

Just to provide some context, in a way at least from what I observed, Cedric was Dillin's "Token Kiwi" for the longest time, so they did actually speak to one another, I don't know how deep their relationship was/is though. So he isn't a newcomer by any means, though at the same time I wouldn't call him a Dillin Shill either despite his relationship with Dillin

Now, I'm a modern kinda guy, and I would absolutely support someone making $800 a month to review cartoons or comics or some bullshit like that from their home. However, I couldn't imagine giving money to Dillin just to see no improvements in his content. What kind of insight do you provide when it comes to comic book topics?

For blunt and dry wit, we have Just Some Guy who's persona isn't that of an internet edgelord, but a fed up black guy (which makes him WAY more unique than just the average edgelord).
