Dev's position of Trump being the most corrupt president really strikes me as a case of "man finally pays attention to politics, is shocked to find corruption." Especially when people can levy the Hunter Biden Burisma thing as a scandal and Dev repeatedly handwaving it away for reasons.
I'm honestly of the opinion that Trump isn't any more corrupt than past presidents, but he and his administration are under a constant magnifying glass by news institutions that do not like him and have every incentive to air his dirty laundry loudly and often. That was a pretty big reason why I voted for him back in 2016, since the coverage leading up to that election showed that the press was not willing to give him a single inch of leeway on anything while constantly glazing Hillary (who had the gall to complain after the fact that the news was the problem for her loss for covering him so much). An adversarial press that holds the presidency to task (even if it is a bunch of bullshit) is a lot better than the Obama-era ballwashers the press became in their efforts to gunt-guard "Their Guy."
