Think a way more metal version of Sailor moon, but instead of doing a sparkly transformation sequence to get a laser tiara, main girl gropes the other chick to pull a sword out of her chest and the bad guys tend to die via death drop in a confessional booth. At the end Dev does do his usual assumption of extreme good faith by the left though, where he tries to shift the blame onto some scientists being wrong because science is complicated for the fact we have had dozens of predictions that all failed to pass.
