If they do any kind of Nolan follow-up it would be cool to see the Huntress, Helena Wayne, since Batman & Catwoman got their happily ever after. Then again, in the continuity Huntress comes from (Earth-Two) both her parents died like chumps later on.

One of my favorite Batman gambits is after Batman has died, his journal is publicly revealed by Clark Kent in the interest of journalistic integrity. It reveals the JSA as secret Nazi collaborators during WWII, and they are forced to appear in front of Congress for questioning. Yes it's all a ploy to bring justice upon a time travelling murderer. (Helena Wayne is their attorney...)

Gunns contract is up at end of this year.

The thing is that Ellison has not shown any desire or ability to play hardball.

He has shown he wants to play nice with Hollywood and wants to work with and be accepted by them. He is soft type of libshit that thinks they are just confused and he can help them see the light rather than acknowledging they are actively malicious towarda white men and America. News media is different. Marching orders there is to snuff out the Palestine shit and jew hatred. Dont mistake that for being on the right.

He is not going to fire Gunn. Period. Elison is going to honor the shitty contracts and cant fix Star Trek or anything else for years. Gunn is going to part ways probably with the fig leaf that it was Gunns choice due to Trump and may even be offered a short term extension to see how Man of Tomorrow plays out.

He will them be allowed to go back to safe edgy lower budget movies and be a hero for "resisting Trump". If he is a good enough boy he will be allowed to make a Oscar bait movie about how South Africans massacring white people was the most good act ever in say 10 years when Hollywood pushes that as the next phase of their cultural death march.

they ALL can't have it, and in DC, its very much almost all of them, all the major faces are all the biggest pissbabies about killing, not even "super heros killing" but the very CONCEPT of Death itself, its so beyond the pale of how to view saving people and redemption that its baffling, its perfectly resonable to always want to save everyone, or try and redeem everyone, but DC Hero's especially Superman and the big names, have an unbridled terror at the idea of even evil people dying from "something else" including their own hubris.
OK so like I said, you need to pick another entertainment medium if you have trouble with people not resorting to killing so easily. No shit, they are superheroes. They are supposed to try and avoid any extreme measures until there is no choice. Besides there are already DC characters that don't adhere to that rule, you just don't give a shit because they aren't the prominent ones.
and still you are just fuckin wrong, you want Wonder Women to become Superman in mentality, its retarded, he's already right there, there's already 4 dozen hero's in DC with the "never let anyone die" Mindset, Wonder Women is, at her core, a warrior, and a soldier, she'd kill MORE if her compatriots didn't have such a problem with it.
They are ALL "Superman in mentality" insofar as they aren't trigger-happy executioners. And no, Wonder Woman, at her core, is not a soldier, her entire origin story and shtick is bringing peace and love to the outside world. This was her entire deal before DC decided to fuck that up and turn her into a discount Red Sonja.

Anyone else think Gunn's Batman: The Brave and the Bold will ultimately get canceled?
No. Regardless of whether or not the merger goes through Warner Brothers are desperate for high profile D.C. releases even if they fail. It's more about making the D.C. brands stand out compared to HBO or Harry Potter or the other Discovery properties and brands. They've had more bombs than successes. And more mega bombs than box office hits. Their strategy is simply keeping the brands in the news and in theaters every month even if the films are complete dogshit and lose money. Some examples.

- Justice League lost about $60 million.
- Jonah Hex was a colossal bomb that failed so badly that it made just $500K in territories outside of the U.S. in theaters.
- Watchmen was not profitable as Fox and Paramount got a considerable chunk of the movie.
- Birds of Prey fell $100 million short of its needed theatrical totals to make profit.
- Wonder Woman 1984 probably took in $150 million in losses for Warner Brothers.
- The Suicide Squad went to streaming early and wiped out its box office numbers and therefore bombed.
- Black Adam was $50 million short of its projected break-even point.
- Shazam! bombed at theaters and made no impact in home media.
- The Flash had Ezra Miller go nuts during the promotional tour and that movie lost $100 million easily.
- Blue Beetle is one of the lowest grossing D.C. films and basically vanished after leaving theaters.
- Aquaman 2 was a huge loser despite the first being a box office hit.
- Supergirl is projected to lose at least $125 million. Which likely eats all of the previous Superman film's profits and more.
- Joker 2 saving the best for last is a $200 million loser that had one of the largest comic book movie marketing budgets.
