I called it. Synderverse will be praised the same way the Star Wars prequels get praised now after Disney Star Wars. James Gunn doubling down on Superman parents being evil and wanting him to Rape earth women for breeding in Supergirl.

Trying so hard to find that leaked clip but its probably lost forever
It was so bad oh my god......

Man, I wished Supergirl had a decent live action adaptation.

The CW series was pure Democrat Party propaganda with some of the most obnoxious lesbian fandoms imaginable.

Never saw the 1984 film with Helen Slater, but I’m aware it was produced by Alexander Salkind who kicked Richard Donner off of Superman 2.

Now we have an obnoxious version from Gunn, who has been doing the same trick since Guardians of the Galaxy back in 2014.

Same problem with Wonder Woman really.

You have a female character that has the potential to be cool, but everyone thinks they need to make a strong statement about women or feminism, so they make her an unlikeable girl boss. It happend with the CW, and it happened with Gunn.

Just hire ayoung pretty white woman, preferably on her teens, and use one of the templates of the animated series like DCAU, DCSPHG, or even MAWs.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=ZqHrH_1RUCsI find it baffling that someone at WB considered it a good idea to release Supergirl between Toy Story 6 and the new Minions movie. Reminding people Milly Alcock looks like Sid from Toy Story a bad idea and minions is black panther for baby boomers.
Gunn forgot that you need to appeal to both sexes to get big-money success, which means you need a woman pretty enough to pull in the men as well.

Either that or he didn't know how to cast Supergirl until he saw Milly Alcock's face and it brought back memories of his childhood pitbull or something.

Wasn’t there a show with Adrianne Palicki that got axed before it got aired?

All think all studio executives forgot to appeal to both sexes.

There was a pilot that wasn't picked up yes.

Surprisingly Wonder Woman has had better luck in live action. Both Lynda and Gal Gadot were charismatic and likeable. She has the opposite problem from Supergirl in that her animated and Game appereances have been mostly terrible with few exceptions.

Even in the lauded DCAU she is mostly remembered for people wanting to ship her with Bruce, and she ended up eclipsed by Hawkgirl of all people.
