Watching the rat king/twitter sjws flail around and try to dehumanized "gamer" types is kind of funny. They're trying to bring the whole bullying thing full circle but they're just too pathetic and self-aggrandizing to be effective bullies.

Because these fuckwits thought making games would be their easy way to a meal ticket, and when they found out that you need actual skill and talent to make successful games they had to find something to blame that wasn't themselves.

Because they aren't actually gamers. David Gallant is a pathetic piece of shit who only became a game dev because he wanted to be one of the 'cool kids' and hang out with the Canadian Hipsters who made games. He doesn't actually give a fuck about making games, he just wanted to hang with the cool kids and talk shop. God, its so fucking pathetic its nauseating.

Others are taking their cue from gaming tabloids like Polygon and Kotaku who regularly shit on their audience. But they don't understand WHY these tabloid rags shit on their audience. Its because they are losing massively to YouTubers and Twitch, so they need to get outrage clicks and provoke them. And they know their primary audience isn't actually people who play video games. Its hipsters who just want to appear that way. Not to mention most of their writers became tabloid games writers because no other outfit would take them.

But indie gamedevs, you know, actually need their audience to actively buy things, not click on their tweets or get into snarky. That's why they never make any money, the only people who buy their shit is their friends. Which is why a lot of this fake 'indie' scene is one big, huge circlejerk. Its why you see their titles flop again and again and again. I'm not talking about good indie devs who make quality products and don't shit on their audience. Because even if your game is good, if you antagonize your audience, insult them, they will just go elsewhere. There are just so many games to buy nowadays that they really don't need to take any of their shit.

They really just don't care and are fundamentally poseurs. Its all about how it looks, not about any sort of quality content or even profit. Its to fit in with this circle of people. Those that are actually trying to make a living doing this are too fucking stupid to realize that virtue signaling to 5 people who won't buy your game isn't going to make you money.
