Yes, the man who bathes twice weekly and never did his own laundry until he was 35 years old will be responsible enough to clean and maintain the tiny shards of glass he places onto his eyeballs.

They're made of soft material these days - I have contact lenses that only need to be changed monthly so 99.9% of the time I forget they're even there (until you get a bit of dirt or eyelash caught inbetween)

Keep in mind when he says "good vest" he literally means good vest, he's still trying to find something stylish despite the entire point of the vest being him looking like a fool.

And that’s why his entire chat makes fun of him when he asks which vest he should put on while getting visibly frustrated when they pick the “wrong” vest. Last week, he was lowkey complaining as to why people picked the brown vest when they should have picked the blue one because he was wearing a red t-shirt. This level of dissonance is autistic in and of itself when Phil genuinely believes that the vest can be a cool, aesthetic piece of clothing that should match one of the awful, childish shirts he wears on a daily basis. The fact that he cares how the vest looks to aesthetically match his t-shirt goes against his constant mentioning of how ugly he is to generate pity points. Phil is a deeply insecure manchild who obviously takes IG and Twitter pictures in the most gratifying angles because he does have a baseline about how he should look (hence why he’s always touching and flattening his greasy, balding hair).

This vest streak has turned into a sad and pathetic event where we get to witness a 38-year old man prostituting himself for shekels... the twist is that he puts clothes on instead of taking them off. On top of it, Phil genuinely believes that the vest has become a symbol against the ‘tractors, online hatred, bullying, as well as representing a public demonstration of success to all the haters out there. Imagine living in a reality where making upwards of $200 daily is considered successful. In which you’ve had to sacrifice everything to live a balanced life so you can continue living as a hermitically sealed hermit so you get to play games that you hate all day long.

His reasonings as you why the streak is still ongoing is very telling about how Phil processes events and daily occurrences in his life: he’s not debasing and humiliating himself publicly for $100 to entertain his audience of mentally disabled grown men and children, no, this event symbolizes the struggles he has gone through as a content creator!

It’s utter fucking nonsense. He’s oblivious to the fact that most of his audience is dying to see this streak end and get a reaction out of it. All the hate watchers are already making fun of him. I don’t see this streak making it past 200 and it’s not guaranteed that he will even make it to 200.

And piggy is flying high which will make the fall even juicier than expected. He’s already in a bad mood when it takes a long time to reach the Tips Goal. I can’t wait to see his reaction when he doesn’t hit the goal and will blame everyone for being shitheads and taking the streak for granted.

I'm not holding my breath for that. For all we know, the streak will continue indefinitely. Especially when you consider the fact that Phil has already shown that he gives no shit whether the streak is legitimate or not. Not only did the streak fail already due to his bugged math mechanics, but he also probably had hundreds of dollars charged back.

He sees this streak as a symbol, as you said. So no way he will let go of it. I honestly can't see this ending anytime soon. @actually, there's an idea for a poll: how far will the streak get? If I had to guess, I think we will get to the 500, as disgusting as that sounds.

I personally hope that people keep charging back their troll tips because angry ranting phil is the only phil I can stand to listen to, especially when hes so frustrated he cant even keep track of the lies hes been perpetuating for years let alone the lies he tells minutes ago. that "$800" chargeback rant was pure gold. "I didn't have any of the guy's info till twitch emailed me the info then I looked up the info that I had" etc...

I wonder how many times phil has told his audience that he doesn't get any info on people who tip him only to stare at his phone later that same stream to see if a tip had come from someone impersonating another person? or how many times has he said he always wins every chargeback in an attempt to dissuade people from doing it (probably because it takes effort to dispute them) only to cry about chargebacks?

It IS a symbol. Of Phil getting the money he wants every day. That's what kills me about this "Vest Streak", it's literally him bragging about his prowess at manipulating a bunch of idiots. It does not represent success at anything but that. It does not manifest anything positive for anyone but him. That's why he's willing to lie in order to preserve it, and doesn't even realize how he helps cement himself as willfully scamming those idiots when he waves it off with "I would've gotten it anyway".

I don't dare hope that his paypigs are ever going to stand up for themselves and put this fucking greedy sack of shit in his place, but at least they're aware enough to prevent the tips goal from being hit half an hour into the stream. That's way more than I would expect from people who didn't ditch Phil after the $2k cat reveal.

I can only imagine the amount of effort it takes (probably 5-10 minutes) just isn't worth his time for $1

Why does he even need another clown suit vest? Did he wear out the previous 3 already?

I'm guessing it has something to do with the following:

...I thought the whole appeal of the Vest Streak was that Phil's viewers were nostalgic for an item from Phil's past, rather than Phil literally wearing a damn vest. That's also why people wanted him to wear the cowboy hat at first as well.
Fuck man, I don't even know anymore

It IS a nostalgic item, to the paypigs, but not to Phil. He misunderstands what it is to them (either because he doesn't care or is just stupid), although even if he didn't, there is always that deep-seeded insecurity getting in the way of him making the proper decision. That's why he discarded the cowboy hat. Even if he understood the appeal, it meant he couldn't wear headphones, which we know makes Phil's autism go berserk. Can't be having that, no matter how he stands to gain by making sacrifices. If he was capable of doing so, he wouldn't be DSP.

It's quite amusing and sad how much Phil fucks himself out of making way more money by being so lazy and not even trying to get a handle on his insecurity or his autism. I say that as someone with similar quirks, too. I like having a schedule, I have my habits, organization is very appealing to me, etc., but in order for all that work to be worth it and continue producing positive results, you have to have some flexibility, you have to make concessions and adjustments. You have to stay ahead of your own quirks. Phil puts no effort into that whatsoever, probably because of that same fucked up part of his brain that has been telling him his whole life to call everybody who burts his bubble a detractor and continue pigroaching. He's never wrong, after all. King of Being Hated For No Reason. Totally couldn't have avoided creating the LIMB meme by having a less nonsensical setup. Totally couldn't have avoided being the name most people think of when discussing incompetent gamers by wearing his god damn glasses. Totally couldn't have avoided having no one of note ever stick up for him by being a part of the community instead of shunning it out of fear. Totally couldn't avoid continuing to be made fun of to this very day for having such an autistic schedule by learning to be flexible like an actual mature adult.

The funniest part about the Vest Streak is how DSP STILL tries to cry poor despite having a constant reminder that he’s made $15,000 in donations in the past couple of months.
This has all been very beneficial to him but he’s fucked up by spelling out just how successful he actually is, forcing him to handwave his own fan’s positivity via shit like “I spent it all on....taxes. And groceries.”
I mean shit, if this isn’t enough money to put him “in the green”, what is?

Phil is never going to be 'in the green', even when he's making good money he still has a few "emergencies" like taxes, new hardware purchases or some medical bills he fabricates out of thin air. The taxes excuse is by far my favourite, since they manage to take him by surprise every single year.

Phil finds it easy as shit to lie to his fans about his finances because 1) he financially gains from doing so (Phil loves money), 2) he hasn't the done the math and realized that the vest streak has been that much money in his pocket, and 3) even if he did the math, he would still be the guy who makes money but never has any because he spends and spends and spends like the fucking dope that he is.

As for the way the vest streak highlights how financially secure he could actually be if he didn't waste it on worthless crap, I don't Phil has figured that one out yet, and if he ever does, he will not care because what matters is whether or not his paypigs ditch him. Which they won't. They don't do math much more than Phil does, and even when they do, it doesn't give them enough pause.
