Anyone know where any of the players are? I played for 4 hours today and I think I fought 6 players at the most this shit sucks. All I wanna do is fight people call them niggers over proximity and steal their shit I dont wanna run around a massive map aimlessly.

I was reminded of Dungeonborne and by extension Dark and Darker, I wanted to check the player count for both and uh:
They managed to get a big playerbase for being an alternative, slightly less autistic take on Dark and Darker for Steam, yet they apparently managed to fuck it up so bad. According to reviews, they didn't listen to anyone, questionable patches that broke shit constantly, and even removed an entire server that had a good amount of players using it. They have somehow, despite having a great start, got lost in game development and had no idea how to properly update their game and fix their issues despite players telling them exactly what was wrong. Either that or they got a huge ego from the initial success and figured they knew better than the player...guess not. Even the mods say it's fucking dead:
They basically abandoned the game anyway, they stopped making updates and even maintenance since September, not long until they officially close down servers. Shame, I really enjoyed this game compared to Dark and Darker, and there's not really any other game like that game that looks any good. Meanwhile Dark and Darker seems to be doing quite well for itself as far as I can tell.
