This might be a ramblefest. I've lately fallen in love with Kroshik the seal.
He was found dangerously malnourished (4kg as shown in photo on the left) along with his brother (Shlissik). His name in russian means "little crumb".
Over time, he has packed on a noticeable amount of weight and grew up to be chubby and healthy. He had also developed an obsession with his caretakers and is constantly seeking love and attention from his staff.
Kroshik loves being held and carried like a swaddled baby
Easiest way of telling them apart is Kroshik has a penis mark on his back.
Kroshik is most famous for his attempted release video. After being released to lake Ladoga, 15 minutes after he chose to return to his caregivers. Seemingly more comfortable with his humans than with challenges of the dangerous russian wilderness. He was promptly returned and is in the sanctuary to this day.
