Snails are cute as f… If I see one on the bike path after it’s been raining, I sometimes pick them up and put them out of harms way.

there's been a couple of times I've tried to encourage snails to be in less clearly deadly places, but they always just suck down hard on the ground, and I've heard that if they really don't want to move and you pull they'll rip their own guts out just to spite you about moving them
a time or two I've tried putting down a sheet of paper in their immediate path with the clever idea of then moving the paper but seriously snails are sorta assholes about accepting assistance, like that wheelchair chick in that ds9

Lol yeah she was really a cunt about it as I recall!

(Though I mostly remember wondering why nobody is going ‘WTF IS THAT?!’ Since presumably nobody have seen a wheelchair in centuries!)

As a snail assister with some experience, I can say that I’ve yet to rip their guts out or injure them by yet. Though I mostly see the small ones.

iirc they still had wheelchairs in the future, but spoonhead cardies built the station to be based around normal spoonhead values
