If I recall correctly he ended up dying and now the cave is closed forever because he's still in there.. He did, yes. The fucked up part is that his family and friends spent hours praying for God to open the cave and let him out before calling for help.

The chances of something on 4chan actually being true are slim. Also I think they actually would have called the cops, or just taken turns curb stomping him themselves before following Thanksgiving dinner with a funeral.
