At his age, and that it was Saturday, my first thought was tragic house or recreation accident. Came down off a ladder. Tree fell on him. Boating or ATV mishap etc. The way she phrased it didn't read as suicide to me.

Just from experience my first thought was ladders and roofs. Granted I could be wrong.

Dongs was being tapped to re-work the OP for this thread and I had been grappling with the former Fandom Menace / FNT characters with a mind to do a new thread for PG, basically through the entire run-up to Eric launching Rippaverse and beyond. I dunno what Dongs had planned for this thread, but I never even had a placeholder for EJ. Not because I didn't think he was interesting enough for it or had no content, but because it just wasn't that important given the huge cast of other more deserving retards.

As for a thread about EJ, ditto about the one hack thread attempt. The sentiment in this thread way back originally was re-inforced by the reaction to that, though. Nobody wanted to take on the work of explaining to people already positively predisposed to Eric July why a black man with dreams is a bad idea, especially one who is popular, successful, and aligned against an enemy of the site. As much as I'd like to be able to laugh at him, it's not a good look. And if I'm correct about him overall then that will become clear in time no matter what I say. If I'm wrong then I'll have underestimated him. I think on the whole we handled his early activity pretty well, though.

Regardless how all this plays out, though, you've always been one of the coolest people here, @Captain Manning and I've relied on your insight on more than one occasion. I would award you a Purple Heart for dealing with this shit if I could.

It went unvoiced by the panelists in these clips, but Wiggle was correct in bringing up (in chat) the fact this happened on PRIVATE PROPERTY. It makes a world of difference in terms of the things Riley can and can't do.

I don't know anybody that isn't either in EVS's camp, or Dick's camp (the latter of which is more of what Rekieta is in) that's defending any of this crap Riley has been pulling.

Anybody can dislike EJ all they want, but come the fuck on. The man absolutely does not deserve to be harassed IRL by one of Dick's smelly retarded gimps.

If this, along with Rekieta's drug bust, is the hill CG is gonna die on, it can't die soon enough. I hope 2024 is the last year and it finally goes the way of Gamergate. It's long overdue.

I've learned after the whole Vic situation and the revelations that came after it not to trust internet lawyers. Back then, I genuinely thought Nick had Vic Mignogna's best interests at heart, and it became clear as time went on that he was nothing more than a vessel for him and his unqualified nepo hire's benefit.

Also, based on Eric's latest video, I didn't know his house got doxxed by Riley. I must have missed that in this thread somewhere.

Yeah, Riley either stood in front of his house or pulled a pic online and essentially said “when you don’t give people the attention they demand, you get people like me who escalate things too far! You’re at fault for me acting this way, Eric July!”

I’ll see if I can find the screencap.

I think that all depends on whether or not @FROG can keep trading out old fans for new fans. Remember ye olden days when you would pop in the chat and recognize most of the names? Now - and it has been this way for a while now - you don't recognize ANY of the names, save for maybe two. This is Nu-CG: people whom EVS picked up from his appearances on much bigger channels.

Eventually, people figure Ethan out and leave in disgust, but if he can get on, say, Tim Pool or some other big streamer's channel, he will always be able to swap out the old followers for the new.

Although I've got to say, I keep wondering what the Bot-to-Actual-Viewer ratio is on @FROG's channel. One can only speculate, but I suspect it's severe.
 
Here's how a July lolcow arc might work: The Peggyverse Proxy War. Pegs vs. Balldos!
Stage 1: Peggston befriends Rippa, offers advice, encourages Eric.
Stage 2: Eric goes stealth mode to avoid Sciverfrog's scrutiny. Possibly receives extra financial backing from deep pockets Preston.
Stage 3: Sciverfrog hears Preston is connected to July, begins his secret merger with Balldoverse-Jujuworld. Peggers being a huge degenerate, refers July to the Soskas.
Stage 4: ISOM breaks Frog's balls. Fallout is officially initiated, EVS deploys Riley/Mint gayops.
Stage 5: Preston continues working on his Divinity Factory series, gets big ad on ComicTropes. Frog drinks and drives, Baldowashes Rekieta fulltime, pays off Nina, narcs on his own son.
Stage 6: Everyone goes to jail.

My feeling on this is if it was JUST EVS, there'd be no problem. So I don't think it's people fearful that a July L means an EVS W, like you suggest. I think it's people that don't want to reward or further a shitty (and at times, unlawful) off-site harassment campaign. It goes against the ethos of the Farms.

EDIT: Dax is known to prowl the Farms. Looking for shit to screencap (often out of context) and use against his enemies.
