Apparently calling the products trash and dog water is the comicsgate way of living now. In the past, Richard has said that he enjoys movies less if they aren't popular because he likes to feel like he's on the winning team. I think Richard is the only person I know of like that, where his enjoyment of a movie is based on whether people he knows of think it is good. Well, to some extent that's better than going with his own terrible taste or horrible interpretation of things. He's kind of a hollow person, really. He's also extremely dishonest. I'd be careful of giving him your credit card number.

Always was. These guys are trashing whatever is in front of them. It used to be the Marvel and DC books they read. But now they do not pay attention to things outside the hug box and larger bubble they are in. So they turn on their own almost exclusively. I know you are the Rippaverse gargler guy but Rippaverse is still part of the bubble of youtuber comics. Sorry. It is not part of indie comics. It's part of a weird branch of crap that is discussed on a dusty forum site about trannies and autists.

So critical drinker is now a paid shill who writes positive reviews because he's getting paid to? But If he has the ability to sink a movie through the power of a his YouTube channel why would he need to accept the equivalent of pennies from a small game's studio? Why wouldn't disney pay him for positive reviews and keep him from talking their billion dollar movies? Are they just stupid?

This is how I imagine Richard divines his information on the nefarious plots of the Critical Drinker.

Whenever someone gets this conspiratorial about their opponents, I stop taking them seriously. There are so few people that are just absolutely defective, in the manner Drinker would have to be for Zack's critiques to be honest. And of course, it can never be disproven, because we're basically at conspiracy thinking, where any counterfactual proves the conspiracy. At this point, I don't think Zack would be positive to Drinker, even if Drinker personally financed a sequel to Furiosa, and Zack would probably just say its a smokescreen to distract from the fact that the Drinker killed Furiosa and shares collective blood guilt with the other BPC.

It doesn't matter if A YouTuber made it or not, if they make comics AND they do it by themselves WITHOUT the mainstream or anything related to it AND they deliver they are an Indie comic brand. Nothing gurgle guy about it, it's a fact same with Iconic and Alterna. You don't have to like it, but it's a fact nonetheless. Now if you want me to look it up, I would be more than happy to. Now Iconic may not have had a big presence on YouTube, but they're pretty much the same way as Rippaverse is with their products, which includes delivery, the type of campaigns they do as well as the way they deliver.

Wow....ok first of all I LOVE RoboCop and Rogue city is not glitchy nor does it have bad graphics in any way shape or form, and it CERTAINLY isn't terrible. Second of all even before the expansion pack it was STILL looking good and played just fine. He really IS a piece of work....he's just complaining just to complain it seems.

Note: I should clarify that the Will (I think that's the Drinker's name) actually likes the Resident Evil games and considers them his favorite game series. I just assume Richard wouldn't like them because... he's Richard.

Also, I just watched his review of the first Resident Evil, it's entirely devoid of cringe jokes, unrelated clips and the character called "The Critical Drinker." I was actually able to watch it without being annoyed. How unusual!

He should be able to if he wanted to. Him being able to look up an order using the tracking number should be fairly trivial with shipping software. And even if it's not possible outright. It should be doable via a report or something.

That's funny. Never played it since I rarely buy games when they first come out (normally wait until the drop below $5). But I don't recall anyone saying anything bad about this game when it came out. I'm sure they exist. But the consensus seemed to mostly be that it's fun and you'll maybe appreciate it more if you grew up watching Robocop.

According to my Steam purchase history I paid $9.99 for it, probably during some Steam sale or another. Unfortunately it ended up in my backlog so I can't really say if it is good or not. But I'm sure given its high price of $9.99 the company is certainly paying big bucks to influencers to shill it. I can only imagine the vast fortune the Critical Drinker got to sell out!

In the publishing scene, which I used to be very into long ago, "indie" is just that - you are doing it without any sponsorship by or being affiliated in any way with a major publisher. So, by that definition, RippaVerse and All Caps and even Ya Tard Zack all fit the definition along with the rest of CG.

However, no one has really defined what "major publisher" is, so there is still plenty of room for people to debate as to whether RippaVerse Comics or Iconic Comics is "major" enough to be considered one. Or whether you are still indie if you sell your stuff using Amazon's platform instead of from the back of your car.

Personally, I think it's like porn - you have a good idea of what is and what isn't. So long as it's not tied to a big player like Marvel, DC, Scholastic, etc, it could be and likely is an indie company.

So I may not like it but I guess the most common definition is not the big two, so Image is indie comics. That makes it even more absurd when Comicsgate and/or Rippaverse is supposedly the whole of indie comics. Image has a bigger market share than all of the rest of small publishers combined.
