I don't know why it is that I'm still genuinely amazed that there are people out there so focused on their fucksticks that they build their entire identities around it, split into factions over it and promote hatred because of it. They burn bridges, make enemies, attack anyone who comes near them because....that person's dick/cooch came with the package rather than being an upgraded add-on. This world is fucking weird.

They simply do not care. Burned bridges are fodder for them to make posts about how the friends that they once had are now "abusers." They milk that for pity points. Especially if their friends are cisgender. Then they can cry transphobia and say how much "cis ppl should kill themselves lol uwu"

I guess I just wonder how these people are so lacking in ambition, personal reflection and even self worth to realise that this is all such an enormous waste of time and having a bunch of asspatters cooing "Aww poor wee lamb uwu" isn't actually an achievement......but then I realise who I'm talking about and realise they literally have nothing else.
Doesn't matter anyway since I'm a cis chick so everything I say is just evul opresshun designed to keep the byootiful trans womyn down or some other such bullshit.

Confused what you mean by this. They say a prejudiced hatred of cis people is justification for their prejudiced hatred of cis people, or they say it's not real and that cis people perceive cisphobia as real and use that as justification?

One side says it's real while the other side says it isn't.
Both sides are chimping out about cis people regardless. It's petty as hell.
 
I can confirm that this is not only a thing that people unironically believe, but a thing that's leaked into real life to some extent. A Tumblrite my sister had the misfortune of dating got hooked on this concept a while back - the chick would not only go "ugh, I hate cis people so much" over the slightest of offenses in one of the most trans-friendly schools I've ever heard of, but also went out of her way to harass some chick she didn't like for being cis just so she could turn her responses into the "new meme" among her genderspecial buddies. Because, don'cha know, cisphobia doesn't exist.

The one flaw in her plan being that she has no friends, and even the transtrenders hate her for being a massive cunt to everyone. So, yeah. I wouldn't be surprised if the rest of these noxious brats had a similar pariah status outside their little bubble.
 
"Cis" isn't just Tumblr-speak, it's a Latin-derived prefix for "on the same side" just as "trans" comes from "across"; the prefix was long used in European geography (cisalpine) and chemistry (cis- vs. trans- isomers), and "cisgender" was coined in the 1990s, long before Tumblr existed.

Sure Tumblr is full of transtrender edgelords, but "cisgender" is not some half-baked idea emerging from their idiocy.

A lot of suffixes and prefixes are latin, either way i believe this whole thing is basically like otherkin, something that came around before the internet that spiraled into something crazy and shitty
 
I think somewhere during the overuse of the word homophobia back in the late 00's to the early 10's the suffix -phobia lost its meaning and now it just tagged onto words to mean either: "A word to describe people that disagree with what I agree with so I want to make them look as horrible as possible without engaging them" or "rednecks".

People I've encountered who would fall under the modern definition of "<whatever gender/sex>-phobic" don't have a irrational fear of it but rather just either find it distasteful or offensive to their beliefs and keep it on the down-low or, like this tumblr term for "cis-phobia" hate the fact these people exist and are just assholes in general.

Cis-Bigotry should be the word these tumblrinas should be using to describe themselves.

Actually, it looks like the term "otherkin" in this context (though maybe not the delusion it refers to) originated with newsgroups, much as the coinage of "cisgender" did.
 
Since when the fuck do CIS people kill transmutants? Ever heard of Buffalo Bill, Ed Gein, or Douglas/Donna Perry? Besides, most of the shit thrown at the trans community is because of Tumblrina SJW transmutants, like that video of some homeless tranny shouting at a bunch of Mexicans before getting his head stomped.

So, "cisphobia" is a tumblr-coined term that weirdgender people use to justify their hatred of anyone who's not like them. I have seen very few legitimate transgender people post about this subject, however. They're usually cool. It's generally the voidgender/autigender/transtrender people that rage about the "cisgenders" (cis is Tumblrese for "not tranny."

Also, I feel like I should add: Tumblr says cisphobia is justified and technically doesn't even exist, because hating Your Opressors is okay, and you can't be -phobic towards the majority anyway.
