I'm sure they'll insist that they're against a draft as well, but the fact is that the United States waged six conflicts with men conscripted against their will while the women got to sit home. And you can't convince me that the draft is totally dead and buried, up until 2021 you could still find chickenhawk boomers that would condescendingly tell you that you gotta step up, be a MAN and serve Uncle Sam's interests in bringing gay anal sex to Botswana. And with the dismal recruitment rates the military is currently facing, I would be genuinely shocked if the idea hasn't at least been floated at the Pentagon. A draft coming back would be deeply unpopular, but it would be ultimately accepted as a grim necessity. Meanwhile, the first politician that suggested an idea like the OP's would be debanked and voted out of office so fast your head would spin.
The funny thing is, the primary rationale for leaving the women home in wartime was that you would need them to repopulate. If they're not going to fulfill their end of the social contract, then they should be up for the draft as well. I'm sure if you raised the possibility that women are going to be shipped off to war with the boys, their tune would change right quick.
