I haven't made my way through it entirely left, but what I've skimmed so far is an absolute laugh. Straight up some of the most stereotypical reddit, pseudo intellectual commie slop you can expect
Surpisingly enough though it appears the media wasn't entirely lying for once about the 'incel' part of his ideology going by his closing statements, though of course he espouses his views in the most redditor framing possible
Something I pointed out in the other thread but I should point out here, is that he was basically primed to blow straight from University, just he didn’t have a specific target or plan. Just from talking around it seems like there are a lot of people who are basically primed to go on a mass killing spree and overthrow the bourgeois and install communism, heck we literally had flyers going around trying to get people to join literal communists. I think we may actually be at the point Tsarist Russia and Old China was where it just takes one charismatic leader with a plan to make the university students go on a killing spree and form a communist government (which then arrests and kills them because they are crazy and only useful for overthrowing things)

Ignore any simpleton who tries to reduce his ideology to simple "left" or "right" -- or even "incel."His main ideological belief is opposing "hypergamy," which he blames for creating a social system where most men, he claims, are heinously deprived of female romantic connection. Tbh I feel this whole thing is a psyop and he is an intelligence asset to promote gun grabbing because taking an SKS somewhere is literally impossible. It's restricted. You have to tell the RCMP you are taking it somewhere and the dispatcher would NOT have allowed him to take it to a mass shooting.

I see that my neighbour got a bright yellow notice from statistics Canada saying that they dropped by in person to remind him the census is not optional. So I guess they are doing a sweep of the stragglers now

They might go after everyone in power, good or bad. I'm going to be pissed if I have to give up my life to protect Danielle Smith because she's not worth it but the role she plays is.
Getting your firearms license isn't exactly difficult outside of time and money. Spend ~6-8 hours in a course, pass a couple of tests, fire off a request for approval, and most people receive their license within a few months. As long as you're licensed you're free to buy any non-restricted piece and ammunition.
The more fun consideration is if this kid was already flagged in some way by the cops. Every license holder is run through a background check every 24 hours on average, and the RCMP love holding up any license request if they so much as think you're hiding something (or your references bad mouth you). Unless this kid was absolutely clean up until this point he would, much like the Tumbler Ridge tranny, already be on a watch list. Might be another reason beyond death by female cop this incident gets buried in a week or so, because the RCMP do not like questions about their competency.
