i think its ok to dye or bleach natural or near-natural colours but if i see the full RGB setup i think dangerhair or e-girl and i wouldnt get involved with them beyond surface level frienlyness.
This kind of shit fascinates me because... why on earth you think women care?

From what I've seen, most women on kiwi are in LTRs or married. We don't care about rando's sexual preferences, only our partner's.

I haven't dyed my hair in ages (mostly out of laziness), but if I were, there's only one person who gets input on it. The fact that you would hypothetically not date me is of 0 relevance to anything.

i cracked eventually and got my hair done professional and dyed it blue. But it wasnt a full head job blue i got the length in streaks in a really vivid blue and the top of my head was done in a darker colour similar to my natural haircolour it looked so good. But the up keep was horrible just as bad as i remembered it.

Rocked that at work for like a year and no one said a fucking word, now i come in and see all the danger hairs coming out we have a unusual amount of faggots being hired.

Definitely possible. It's whatever colour compliments your face/eyes... even outfit!
I have naturally dark-coloured hair but, I dyed it pink (not dark pink just bright pink), but, I didn't bleach my hair. And it came out as a gorgeous dark-coloured pink that almost looks natural! I received a lot of compliments like that too. You can always do something like that if you are too worried of changing your hair too drastically, or want to avoid being labelled as a dangerhair.
So what I'm basically saying is, I'm a dangerhair.

You can wear anything and use any style if you have model-tier looks and body.
If you don't, then you will be associated with the subculture that uses that style. It's not fair but that's life.
I used to grow my hair out and donate it to the local cancer ward since well before Bruce Jenner got photoshopped to hell for Vanity Fair, but now I don't because I don't want to risk being called ma'am.

I've been dying my hair weird colors since I was a teenager. And I'll probably continue to do so long after it's stopped being trendy. If someone thinks I'm a danger hair, it's not really my problem. It makes me happy when I see it in a mirror, and that's all I really care about.

Don't be an asshole and you can dye your hair deep jungle green for all anyone cares.

Long time Kiwi and old bag here. My hair has been stupid colours since my early teens and is still at it. People occasionally assume I’m a super liberal woke idiot before speaking to me. Usually the same kinds of people who would scream about “actual violence” if you said you judged people by how they look, but self-reflection is never a woke strongpoint.

I should wear my KF t-shirt out more often.

I have natural light blonde hair and when i was a child it was almost white but it did get a bit darker shade as I got older so now I just get some highlights done at the salon and it's as wild as I'll ever go.

I think for wild colored hair it's also an outfit and general appearance combination that will signal to people whether you're a woke commie 8th waive feminist troon ally or something else.

I'd say danger hair people most often than not appear unkept and unhygienic on top of mentally unstable.

There is a difference between this:

I was wondering if there was a similar thread to this today, as I was on my bus to work and noticed a young lady who reminded me of a girlfriend I had as a teenager in the 90s.

Gothy, but not ostentatious, with a nice shade of royal blue hair.

Back then, funky colors were cool, and the girls and young women who wore them were normally just basic garden variety semi rebellious kids who were trying to copy a rock star or be noticed in their little crowd.

Nowadays it’s too saturated or they seem to want to be Anime Characters, or angry political activists.

I am irrationally angry at the existence of dangerhairs today. I wanted to do something different for winter and decided on a reverse ombre in winter blues. I wanted the ends to be ink colored almost and they wound up bright dark blue. I now associate anything bright with dangerhairs and am now sitting here doing work with various dyes (that I have in the house, I don't want to go out for anything) trying to un-brighten the ends because I don't want to be mistaken.

Bah - just do it anyway, and enjoy it. Don't sacrifice your fun to the idiots. It's just another way for them to ruin things.

@MadDisaster , I toned down the brightness of the ends but kept the richness by mixing an Ugly Duckling white toner with a denim dye over the bright dark blue and it looks MUCH better.
It sounds awesome! Ombre looks so cool, but I've never had the patience for the upkeep. One color is so easy to maintain with a bit of dye mixed in with conditioner to keep it bright. Can ombre be maintained the same way?

Haha, no BUT, it's kind of easier because it's ok if your roots grow out a bit and the dye precision isn't as necessary as with regular dye. you can pretty much just slop it on as long as it's fairly even.

If you take proper care of it and the color isn't out of place for your looks it'll be fine without the connotation you're a dangerhair. If you do no upkeep like outgrown roots, fried and greasy as fuck you'll probably get associated with SJWs. Platinum, black, red and browns look good, if you're going for a rainbow color buy a few containers of the hair dye and keep up with it. Not to mention you can always take a picture of your hair and do some photoshop to see if you'd look nice with it.

I was having a conversation just today about my former dye life. I wasn’t a dangerhair, punk, liberal, “alt” anything… I just literally liked colors. I love colors, to the point of tastelessness.

With that said, my hair was always an attempt to be tasteful even in the wonky shade department. Always used a midnight blue, deep ultraviolet, or purple/blood red. I would also “tiger stripe“ it, all by my lonesome. When the dye faded, it would be a gentle turquoise fading into blonde. (Had my natural hair underneath.) I’d spend up to six hours on my dye to make sure the job was done right.

Did dye my hair orange once. Instead of the intended tangerine, I looked like a traffic cone. Never had to worry about crossing the street safely or being OSHA approved.

I'm pretty sure my days of edgy hair bleaching and punk cuts caused my bald spots today.

If you have a dyke haircut and dye your hair, you will always look like a dangerhair. Unavoidable, my friend.

If you are a girly dainty dame, you might get away with it.
