Alongside this there are allegations of EA3 using AI code on top of staff members (Burnice plus notable Kenko) quitting due to Zeblote's BTS "bigoted" behavior with other staff considering it as well (faggots eating their own? Say it ain't so). If that happens, there will be a skeleton crew of three entire dipshits left working on Brickadia (you would've thought this already with the extremely slow years-long development). What a shame. I got into Blockland when I was younger, but moved on rather quick due to the lack of players and things to do. Even then, I still really liked the idea and wish it took off. Just when I find a spiritual successor with potential, I also find out it's in the hands of the usual suspects who will destroy this before it can go anywhere. Very lame.
One of the other devs, wrap/Wrapperup, is quoted by Masterlegodude (trustworthy user) as defending Zeblote in on that BLF thread posted above
I just want people to understand there's people who care about this community and I love everyone here and it hurts to see it like this. Zeb is definitely very blunt and abrasive at times but I don't think he's bigoted, I don't believe I could work with anyone who is actually tribal or sensible at all. I tried really, REALLY hard to keep the team together because I love working on this game with everyone, I just want people to know so many tears were shed and everyone deserves some grace. it didn't end in any way I wanted it to and it's not black and white. I'm still processing it but _everyone and I mean everyone_ involved wants to move on. I hope me saying this puts more weight on it that it because I care about what happened to Burnice and it really shouldn't have went down like it did. bad things did happen, but mostly in just how conflicts were handled and how burnice got fired. Zeb has also been in and out of the hospital since January so PLEASE everyone just... be kind to each other.
It's worth mentioning that wrap trooned out recently so the defense of Zeblote seems to lends credence to the fact that Burnice was just sperging to try and bring down the ship under the le trans genocide facade
