Is anyone surprised that professional journalist Flynt/Wu doesn't know the origin of the term "fourth estate"? It has nothing to do with the U.S. Constitution and originated in the United Kingdom in 1787. Edmund Burke first used it when he noted in a debate in the House of Commons that there are "Three Estates in Parliament; but, in the Reporters' Gallery yonder, there sits a Fourth Estate more important far than they all."

No he has not. He went troon in prison and is still in jail where he belongs. Even if you agree with what he did in principle, he swore an oath and broke it, can't do the time don't do the crime. The real crime is he's rotting in a jail and assange is living it up in an embassy. Manning wasn't a citizen, he was a soldier that knew what he was doing and broke the oath he swore. Thems the breaks.
