Brianna Wu / John Walker Flynt - "Biggest Victim of Gamergate," Failed Game Developer, Failed Congressional Candidate
Creating porn of Rev60 is considered parody and protected under free use. The eula also mentions that violators will be prosecuted under Massachusetts law regardless of their location which is totally unenforceable.
Christ almighty. The godzilla of tech feminism can't even work out how to actually sell her game on steam.
Worse, she didn't even check if you could buy the damn thing before she made the announcement.
Does Flynt really think anyone will make porn of those abominations? He probably put that there so people make Rev 60 porn ironically, so then he can cry harrassment.
The reverse psychology of her saying not to make porn of her characters will cause more porn than if she said nothing (ironic porn to troll her, but still)
I'm curious to see what the Steam reviews will be.
What do you guys think?
Will they be flooded with trolls? Flooded by white knights? ACTUALLY BE LEGIT REVIEWS?
Prediction:
Honest review: "This game has too many bugs, barely runs and if it does, the frame rate is downright horrible. Refund!"
White knight post: "Brianna Wu has worked hard on Revolution 60! Although it does not work on my machine, it is a masterpiece that..."
Troll review: "Brianna Wu has worked hard on Revolution 60! Although it does not work on my machine, it is a masterpiece that..."
( Yep, that is not a copy and paste error. )

I really want to see her try and enforce that nonsense. EULA's aren't the be-all end-all that some scare-mongers would like to make you believe. You cannot sign away your constitutional freedoms.
What's your take on this, fam? Accident, deliberate way to avoid releasing, or what? I'm genuinely unsure, as Wu is both sneaky (Is Brianna Wu an Awful Person?) and shhhtuuuuupiddddd.
