I think he's similar to Phil in that due to his below average intelligence he's unable to keep more than one lie in his head at a time which is extremely problematic when you lie as much as John does.

If I were an Asian-American actor/actress, I'd probably be kinda pissed that my heritage excludes me from portraying Japanese characters based on Japanese media set in Japan.
And I probably wouldn't care that Japanese people didn't see the problem, since it's not Japanese people living in Japan who miss out on work because they're Asian.

That's what it boils down to I suppose, knowing that you will never hit the big time or maybe never even get a steady job in acting because babby American audiences can't get over their batshit concepts of race.

Huh, so he really went ahead and hanged an American flag behind his desk. Looks like one of those shit plastic flag decorations that are made in China and exported for July 4th
