Except when you get to the very end, at which point not getting through one of the QTEs gives you an instant fail no matter the path you were in. And the 'multiple endings' are less than the revealed amount.

The issue regarding the book for Rev 60 is kind of weird. The game makes it sound like it would help the story but I think Smutley and even Wu herself said it doesn't add much to the story. I think Wu said Frank wrote quite a bit of it. It's a ton of useless info regarding vehicles, guns, and short character bios on characters that aren't even in the game. I don't think it actually fleshes out the game's story at all. Rev 60's shitty story is a classic case of the writer understanding what's going on so they magically assume the audience will too. It's another example of Wu making this game more for herself than for the consumer.

I know we would hold it against them if we knew but you'd think they could have gotten the whole dev team plus one friend each to like their trailer. I probably would have told all my friends and my mom's friends and so on to like my youtube promo if I'd bet the farm on a project.

Yeah, I was just glancing at some of the top-voted ones.
This whole farce has basically become an autistic arms race where Brianna has to keep inflating her ego and make more and more outlandishly arrogant statements in order to guard herself against the increasing toxicity of the comments against her game. And as her attitude gets worse, more people get more pissed off and more badly pissed off.
The street race would have solved everything.

As far as I know, the Chessboard AI goes bad because things happen. Also, the Snow Leopard guys are bad because they are in league with China for reasons.

Chessboard had to take over a geishabot to do something. SHODAN doesn't need some robot, not when SHODAN in all the metal glory can take over and entire ship or space station.
