The Apple mouse is awful for most things, and it's erganomics are probably really bad for videogames. Granted, I'm the fuckwit who went out of his way to a mechanical keyboard and a moniter with as low an input lag as possible; so that's a bit overstated.

Screw Apple mice; the ones I was forced to use in a computer lab were super finicky about registering inputs and either required a cinderblock to click or spammed clicks at the touch of the air conditioning. The keyboards aren't terrible; I'm using one along with a laser mouse from 15 years ago.

While not entirely an incorrect use of the term, it's a clumsy term to use. A more appropriate way to end that tweet would be "This should fix that", since obviate means the removal of a need for something, in this case, the empty space, which makes using the word obviate slightly clumsy because Wu is saying he wanted to fill the empty space.

Obviate is something that is done to a problem, not something a problem does.

John is illiterate.
