Well, this can actually be fact checked. Vermin has a very active Twitter account, so I'll just DM him with a throwaway account and ask if he knows you.

we met in 1989 at the Mercury test site in the trash recycling piles in the camp across the road where he had declared himself the Mayor. Sometime in the early 90's he was raging with his disco ball at 3 am pissing off all the old crusties at a Shawnee regional. i doubt you'll get any response out of him at twitter.

I ain't tweeting him, he's pretty chill and I am not dragging a chill anti-establishment oldhead into your nightmare. I just said that to piss you off and it worked. Even if you saw him once or twice, I guarantee he doesn't know you. FYI, he responds to pretty much anyones DMs.

He's pretty cool. Been running independent for president for at least 2 decades. I first heard of him in the late 2000s. Iirc in the 2016 campaign, he ran on being the only candidate with a platform and plan to respond to a zombie apocalypse.
