Its over a period of several months(and a LOT has happened between now and the time this compilation was made)

But in short, Brett Keane went through a bunch of phases; at one point he became a feminist, then a trump supporter, is in a youtube "war" against the drunken peasants, has been paid a sum total of over $2000 by the peasants to make a fool of himself on their show, for like a day, became friendly with them after he was paid the money and tells them he is a changed man, then immediately goes back to being the same fatso we all love

Since the video(keep in mind this is not everything, but rather what I remember), he doxxed one of the show's hosts, and gave the address to some crazy christian wingnut who posts pictures of his guns and bibles on instagram, got some guy to call into his hangout and claim that TJ is a rapist and now the peasants are going to ignore him for a few months because they realized that Brett Keane's relevance is dependent on them making fun of him

Somehow Paulsego could always predict when he'd post a "I quit youtube forever" video and when he'd be back.
Kinda miss DP going in on him, it was super entertaining
 
So it's time for a thread revival as something big has happened.

Back in September a woman claiming to be the ex-fiancee of Brett's son came into a Drunken Peasants fan group and did an AMA. She did provide some proof that she was who she said she was, leading me to suspect that she is telling the truth. At least in regards to who she says she is.

The AMA is a very interesting read. To give you the tl;dr version of it:
  • She was with Brett's son for awhile. She got pregnant, which was caused by Justin Keane's baby mama tampering with their condoms. She suffered a miscarriage, was treated like shit by Brett and ultimately resulted in her breaking up with his son
  • Brett's son is turning into his father
  • The Keane family lives in a rundown trailer
  • Brett is a slob who doesn't take care of himself, doesn't help out at home
  • Further indication that Brett doesn't work, has possibly never had a job his entire life
  • Brett is lying about his agoraphobia, possibly about his health problems as well
  • Brett isn't religious
  • Most of his attempts to raise money online are based on lies
  • Brett is a giant asshole, is abusive to everyone around him
  • Brett doesn't have any kind of social life
  • More indication that Brett has beaten Dorn, and is continuing to do so
  • Dorn isn't really as bad as the Peasants and their fanbase have made her out to be, she's just severely abused by Brett and doesn't have the gall to stand up to him
  • Brett has abused his kids, has possibly done something severe to his son in the past
  • His daughter's infamous disability was caused by Brett abusing her. Her disability is actually more severe than initially believed to be, she will likely be dependent on her parents for her entire life. Brett continues to treat her like shit, to the point that this girl has thought about calling social services to intervene
  • Brett possibly jerked off to his son and this girl having sex, including when they were both teenagers

The sad reality is that this kind of thing is often cyclical. I remember ages ago, back when Brett was still somewhat taken seriously by the atheist community on YouTube, he would mention how his father was a deadbeat who mistreated his family. Of course, that is just Brett's side of the story, but it would explain a lot if true. Children from dysfunctional households (and especially abusive ones) often learn to lie to protect themselves, and this is undoubtedly the central behavior that Brett Keane is known for.
 
During the final days of Goronchev, (Smugfag/"Intellectual Checkmate"), before fading into obscurity, he and Brett were constantly posting Skype chats and advertising each other. I don't know if they're in contact, but a stinky, obese slob's closest confidant was once a balding, delusional teenage narcissist.

A certain aquatic mammal individual has surfaced in the particular situation again. Probably because it's October he's now styling himself as "The Boogieman of the Internet." The only really notable thing is that his new identity is as a Trump demagogue. He's REALLY salty at everyone else... Christian, atheists, even God himself. Because they won't give him things.
Would you believe he mentions TJ (Amazing Atheist) and the "losing the house the story?"

Other than that, honestly nothing to see, though. Same Brett talking points we've heard a thousand times, same 50 to 200 view count videos, all of which are bound to be deleted in a month or two. Reminder: Just observe. Don't feed the manatee.
 
I checked in on Brett for the first time in awhile. It looks like sometime around December he lost his latest channel and is now spending all of his time online sperging out on Facebook.

He also claims he is now working on another book that he wants to get published. He also says he has been doing a lot of work on Fallout 4 mods. Considering that he ran a Fallout 4 scam a few years ago, I wouldn't be shocked if he is doing it once again.

It feels like a shame that this thread is only 2 pages long, because Brett is arguably the biggest lolcow to ever come out of the YouTube atheist community. Then again, the golden age of Keane was over long before this thread was started. I largely stopped paying attention to him in around 2012 or so, and if it wasn't for the Drunken Peasants Podcast going out of their way to draw attention to him again, I probably would have mostly forgotten about him.

Like Chris Chan, Brett is an artifact of a different era of the internet, and there's a feeling of nostalgia that comes from hearing him being mentioned again.
