The new theme is very solid and in my opinion an improvement over the older one. One small tiny miniscule nitpick/potential oversight I have is that with monitors that are NOT 16:9 (i.e. vertical monitors) certain elements (such as the top most element with the KF logo) stretch all of the way while it doesn't happen on other aspect ratios. The browser I primarily use is Brave browser if that is important.

It's not a big deal if it never gets fixed/adjusted for parity, just thought I'd let you know.

Also are the chats going to be changed by the High Contrast theme or are they just going to stay as is?

P.P.S. XenForo stores themes in the database without version control. It is not possible to Git themes. It is not possible to restore them. Only a database rollback was an option and I'd rather just fix it.

Most databases let you dump specific db tables schema and contents as SQL files, which can then be version controlled. It's just a matter of making it part of your workflow. I've done this for work before. DM me if you want some help I guess, or don't.

So glad that a huge portion of the issues in my old post have been fixed. I feel a bit stupid for complaining about the image viewer: you can still see every image, you just need to scroll to the right now. I don't really like that, I'd prefer the old grid view, but I can tolerate the new one enough that I won't complain further about it.

Really, there are only three big issues with usability that would be great to have fixed:

• .webp really fucking sucks, the longer this goes on the worse it feels. Even converting everything to a .jpg would be better than this. I can barely read the text on my old post complaining about the excess "watched threads" buttons due to artifacting, I can't imagine what it'd be like with actual information to read on there. Please just make .webp an option on upload or something. I don't want to have to screenshot every funny meme I see instead of just downloading it. This also seems to be a huge issue on privacy-focused browsers, so please make this your top priority if you're reading this.
• The style button being where the old Alerts button was is still really throwing me off. The alert button feels very cramped now, it's quite a pain to check and I keep clicking the dumb style button instead. I hope I'm not the only person having this issue, given that I've seen nobody else complaining about it, but imo it's a big deal and really hard to get used to. Would love if the style button was moved.
• The "Forums" button is still missing from the bottom bar:

People also seem to have a problem with the post-saving feature, but I can't comment on that so I won't.
EDIT: nvm I see what they mean. Posts won't clear when you make them. Especially annoying with attachments, which don't get removed either, so it would be nice if this was worked on too

Otherwise, there're mostly just aesthetic nitpicks that I can kind of live with but don't want to.

Spoiler: said nitpicks

• Gold and kawaii themes still missing. My painful death continues... (nah i'm sure you're working on these, no pressure)
• random.txt remains AWOL... the world is ending....
• Unread notifications are now flashbangs (this one's funny because I personally think the left is not enough contrast, while the right is too much. Happy medium soon?):

• Parroting some other persistent posts for the sake of easy reference:
  • forum rules in full color blocks fucks up the rules text, especially in A&N where there's colored text
  • greyed-out "insert multiple"/"attach files"/"post reply" buttons tickle the brain into thinking they're disabled and they generally don't stand out, might be beneficial to make them a smidge darker
  • Board threads still don't match the color of the icons. Probably being worked on, but I'm adding it here for posterity. Blue Off-Topic will return soon...
  • Featured post bar is still broken. You can go to features just fine, but the actual featured posts don't describe the date and content of the feature anymore.
  • Pink triangles are gone. How are we supposed to identify retards now?
  • header is misaligned (on my browser, Ungoogled Chromium, and on desktop):
  
  (obviously this isn't a huge complaint, it's just very strange since it barely shows any of the background but greatly interrupts the header. I think this was fixed yesterday, so I don't know how it reverted.)
• I think the Report button got a little lost, please bring him back home:

(alternatively, on the same row as send dm/find but on the right side? Underneath reaction score. As long as it doesn't bleed into the banner, because it really sticks out in a bad way right now)

Otherwise, I can't think of any other complaints. I really love the refresh so far. The new header is an inventive way to separate things, and text highlighting being green now is really nice on the eyes. I'm super glad that notifications have their colored bars back, too! All this needs is TOTAL .WEBP DEATH and my beloved gold theme and I'll be more than contented.
