The God Words floating around is just perfect. Difficulty curve is pretty brutal though.

I barely balanced the levels, I hate making levels. But also git gud SHMUPs are hard DoDonPachi will baby you on the first 2 levels and then murder you on the 3rd.

Amazing. I'm not gonna play, but it's amazing.
Also, developing a game for such a niche platform without giving a shit about popularity, reaching an audience, etc. is kinda based.

Brazilians keep making games for the Sega Genesis and I have no idea why.

I think I read somewhere that Genesis is still being produced and sold in Brazil cause the tariffs on imported electronics make them prohibitively expensive for the common man.

Amazing work as usual
It's really easy to get running. You don't have to do anything besides install VMWare player and configure and run the .iso file in the OP. When it boots up it will prompt you if you want to run the game. The most impressive part about all of this is it's not just the game that's 34 MB but Terry's entire operating system. It uses less resources than a bloated pajeet-designed JavaScript webpageI wish I was a bad enough to dude, but I don't know how to use templeOS

Has anyone gotten templeos working in tinyemu?
Would be nice with a web version of these games a la jslinux.
edit: tinyemu doesn't support booting from CD-ROM (unsure if it is the bios.bin shipped with jslinux or something else missing), but it should in theory work if you use another emulator to install to a raw disk image.
edit2: nvm, I forgot that templeos is x86-64, tinyemu supports only 64bit risc-v, not 64bit x86.

I played BlazeItFgt2 for about three hours today, and this was my best attempt:
(Sorry for the hiss - that's not in the game, it must be a problem with my recording...)
I keep dying to the level that starts at 8:53.
It's tough! Not sure if this is the end or if there are still more levels after this.
My strategy has been to upgrade the weapon with a wide spread, and I basically don't even try aiming since multi-tasking is hard for me. I just hang back, focus on dodging attacks, and rely on my wide spread shots to eventually kill everything.
The laser and the other weapon are stronger (I think), but you need to have better aim or a more aggressive playstyle for them.
The game itself looks good and plays very smoothly. Kudos to Crunklord!
It's neat that I can now say I've installed TempleOS and used it to play a videogame.

Always love seeing these projects you post here. I hope that I'll eventually be capable of programming graphics and vertex animations even half as good as how you do em eventually, I just need to stop being a nigger, and learn trig (and how to apply trig to c++ projects). I haven't bothered installing TempleOS on any of my devices, but I'll check out the VMWarePlayer @777Flux mentioned.
