Not according to any of what you just posted, he didn't. From watching that video and reading those posts, it seems Dave offered to settle in the beginning, Vlado rejected, their court battle started and now they're about to go to judgement for the third and final time. The offer Dave mentions in the video is for Synapse's lawyer to "get in the ring with me" for $150,000, not a settlement.

This was just sent to me with a suicide note and some miscellaneous other stuff offsite by @BrunoMattei. We corresponded for a bit over a year before this, and while it was fun, I'm not going to pretend we were best buddies or wax poetic over this. Haven't read it yet and probably won't for a while but since he asked in the note (which I'm taking at face value for the purposes of this post, though if any of you feel like checking to see if he's really dead, go for it)

My one request to you, if I may impose in this post-mortem state of being where my only threat would be a...

He had a previous failed suicide attempt he documented here, but on this one, I believe he actually succeeded.

Unlike some people (who interacted with him personally who are dissing him on his death thread), I will miss the dude. Sorry, bro, wish you'd conquered your demons instead of becoming your own worst demon, but shit happens, I guess.
