TTU is most likely not getting any donations from the parents. Universities are filthy rich, and the only time donations matter are when they are in the millions. Her parents are upper class but not that upper class. Not to mention she would be at an Ivy League or similarly prestigious university if she had donations from parents.

Some people might even put up posters around campus of the things she has done, her more extreme messages and images of her fungus ridden body

There is a chance she will have a complete mental breakdown after a few weeks of this, until she changes schools and attends under a false name

At which point it is only a matter of time until she is discovered and the process begins anew

Alternatively there is a chance no one actually cares, but these are college students in the middle of a pandemic with extra free time, and why wouldn't they enjoy discussing the campus freakshow?
