Battletech - Also known as Trannytech

CGL put out a Hero Mech version of the King Crab, the Queen Crab KGC-0010M. It's a King Crab painted in tranny colors.

You could ignore this, but the modders for Mechwarrior 5 Mercs, BTAU, and RT all pushed updates specifically to make sure this was added to those games.

Remember, if you complain about this colonization of your hobby space, they'll not only ensure you're removed from the shared hobby space, they'll try and Phonebook you and ruin your life. Becuase they're the anti-bigoted, tolerant, people.

I wouldn't even pirate this with a rented dropship.

"You know they say that all men are created equal, but you look at me and you look at Nikolai Malthus and you can see that statement is not true. See, normally if you go one-on-one in a batchall, you got a 50/50 chance of winning. But I'm a genetic freak and I'm not normal! So you got a 25%, AT BEST, to beat me. Then you add Vandervahn Chistu to the mix, your chances of winning drastic go down. See the three-way, at Somerset, you got a 33 and 1/3 chance of winning, but I, I got a 66 and 2/3 chance of winning, because Vandervahn Chistu KNOWS he can't beat me and he's not even gonna try! So Nikolai Malthus, you take your 33 1/3 chance, minus my 25% chance and you got an 8 1/3 chance of winning at Somerset. But then you take my 75% chance of winning, if we was to go one on one, and then add 66 2/3 per cents, I got 141 2/3 chance of winning at Somerset. See Malthus, the numbers don't lie, and they spell disaster for you at Somerset. But I'm gonna break it down for all you ladies. Would you rather be with me? Or would you rather be with Malthus?"

GW is a hateful, spiteful bunch of arseholes that simply want your money and they hate you specifically. They will do some concession to Modern Times if it's convenient to do so, but they're first and foremost suits. CGL is dumb nerds, and dumb nerds are particularly sensible to subversion.
GW tried with the female custodes, only to be met with such massive backlash the only way they could think of backpedaling without having the troons screech at them was to not mention the femstodes in the new codex, leaving it ambiguous.

Then they had the bright idea to try and sell the new minis with the foid Custodes, only that nobody was buying them.

So GW are also cretins, just of a different kind. Then again, this is the same company that has been trying to claim "40k is satire teehee" for the better part of 40 years, despite the fanbase constantly dragging them, kicking and screaming, back over to the "Imperium are the good guys, go fuck yourselves" side.

Only way I can rationalize how a game about giant robots fighting in a 80ies racist setting played by 40/50 years old chubby white guys is utterly infested by troons online, though. There's not even much engagement with their cringe fanfiction or anything outside of their bubbles, CGL simply gives them free blowjobs because it's nerds trying not to be meeean.
Any community that is not actively hostile towards leftists and LGBT freaks will eventually be consumed by them. They have no jobs, no families, no life, they can spend every waking hour trying to find a way to slither in, or keep sucking the cocks of people in authority until they're allowed entry.

The only surefire way to stop the rot from spreading is to make it very clear they are not welcome and never will be.

I can't decide if the writers at Sarna are just stupid, or there's an attempt at subversion going on. The fiction attached to the latest Bad Mechs article (the Mangonel) posits that it sucked because the two main designers were in a torrid gay romance.

I mean, my money is on stupid, but I can't rule out an inferred 'faggotry shows in mech design' message.

Shouldn't they be clans since they invade all your Inner Sphere space and... forget it. I'll get the aluminum foil or whatever to decorate the trees to confuse their radar again. I know someone that will toilet paper their base while they're out doing something.

Unfortunately the latter.

This is why spheroids can not have nice things.

"This mech sucked because the lead designers were drunk faggots who when told that the new mech design needed to be approved said 'yeah just build whatever we're gonna go drink more and fuck each other in the ass".

Truly progressive. Faggots do indeed ruin everything.

Like general advice or are you trying to optimize a list
General advice I've played a few games and im loving the charger 3k. and i'm trying to makes lances that can support the mech. I'm not familiar with lance comp and mech roles so id like some advice on what type of mechs i should use or how to build my lance, aside from "just play what you like".

So the Charger's main role is to literally charge towards the enemy and act as a skirmisher or Juggernaut. It wants to get into close/medium range, soak up damage, and deal damage. Things that can support that are what you want. If you have it built like a skirmisher, you want mechs in the backline to support you with more firepower, things like the Maurader or a Battlemaster set up specifically to shoot from a distance. For a juggernaut, you want the same thing: long range to support them, or fast mechs with decent firepower that can keep the enemy from getting behind the Charger.

Charger 3K is a Bruiser of a Calvary mech, it wants to get in close and slug it out. Use the LRM 20 to harass while getting into range and then use your Jumpjets or speed to try and get flanks on the enemies. I would suggest another Bruiser like a Thunderbolt or an Orion to follow in behind it and help hold down the battle line. 4mp lasers are nice, but probably not enough to close out fights on their own.

For long range support you want something slow and maybe heavier to sling hate downrange and make your opponent want to get in and deal with it incidently bringing them closer to your Charger more than likely. It also wouldn't hurt to have a light/quick medium to help hunt down and crush any flanking mechs or chip into the brawl when needed.

You literally can't go wrong with almost any Orion or T bolt. They are all just great, and picking the right var really lets you fill any niche darn well. But now if you want to get fluffy, the 3k Charger is a Drac mech.

Don't make me fucking say it.
Grand Dragon.

While the Charger is tanky AF and 4 mpl later the most common mech (aside the locust and bugs) is an Archer and the dracs have a ton (everyone does but I digress) If you want to get into the line, there's MRM archers but I'd just rock the basic bitch 2R it's a solid trooper.

Honestly both in what you'll need in the lance, something to flank and brawl, the Grand Dragon fits the bill and is another Drac mech. I don't know what BV you're looking at but some very common and basic mechs, I'll say a great lance

Grand Dragon 5k
Charger 3k
Archer 2r/2k
Crusader 3k/4k/5k

Now I picked earlier on time line mechs for you and not the best options but it gives you a lance that really can stand and slug. Half mechs are same speed so your fasters can flank from one or both sides and the other two trot into it or hide and just dump LRMs (or line and MRM)

Edit: while I supported the T bolt and Orion, I just kinda focused on fluff. But yeah both are pretty common mechs so Dracs wouldn't lack them but, I'm a pretty fluffy player.

I might swap out the Archer for a Longbow. Its a nice, slow target, everyone's got them in inventory from all of the Great Houses to mercs, and some variants have ERML that would let it provide backup to the Charger. Sarna doesn't have a year for the 14V but between the light PPC's and the MRMs (both Drac weapons) it would certainly fit a fluffy lance and be able to provide support to the Charger. And with the recent MRM changes it might actually hit something with them!

Thanks for the advice. this will help with what mechs to pick up later. funnily enough most of the mechs i use are from the combine and fed com.
